  1. There are lots of the slim bootcuts at an outlet near me, in many sizes. Could conceivably do some pick-ups.

I have a pair that I'm going to get tapered and start wearing one of these days.

In other news, I have a pair of the slim fits in black, size 28/34 that are too small for me if anyone's interested. Unworn, and I think one-wash, still have tags attached.

  2. really? something packaged and filled with chemicals and preservatives?

I'm just saying the "If you don't eat meat, you're a pussy" argument is really weak. It's not like you go out into the wilderness and kill cows and chickens. You don't get big man points for eating something when the hard work was done for you.

  3. fucking pussies.

waaahhhhh. meat is murder. milk gives me the willies. eating tree bark makes your pancreas 5% more effective! waaahhhhh.

fucking pussies, the lot of you.

    carry on.

Do you kill everything you eat? It's not that tough to eat something already packaged for you.

  4. Amlai: I did go hiking in them, and some minor rock climbing to get to the base of Yosemite falls. Support wasn't an issue at all, they hugged my ankles really well, I just wish I had waxed laces so I wouldn't have to re-tie.

Cushioning...i'm not sure. I took a few small jumps in them during the aforementioned climbing without any real pain, and by the end of the day my feet were in some pain, but that might be from being on my feet/walking/climbing for about 10 hours or so. No soreness at all today though! So yes, I would do it again.

The fact that they were pretty pricey is kind of disheartening, but these are not dressy boots, and I feel like they are meant to be worn hard, just like our pricey Japanese denim. I decided early on that these weren't going to be polished and dressed up, just oiled occasionally. No way I would take some cordovan, or even some of the other Aldens up there though...

I've hiked in my GTs numerous times, and Pecards gets those scuffs out pretty well, I find.

  5. RAMBO were pretty cool, reasonable politics and not too down your throat with it all as I remember.

Trapped Under Ice/Lion of Judah/Dirty Money/Ironclad locally tomorrow. Pretty hyped for it after TrashTalk last week. Its been a long time since I enjoyed a hardcore show, but this summer has been great so far.

Buy shit from LoJ and TUI. They got robbed on this tour.
