I've just been invited to the BRITS (for those not in the UK its a big music industry bash, kind of like the BAFTAs).....
no idea what to wear, what does everyone else wear for big industry events, awards etc.

well i always find myself walking past Kilgour and Spencer Hart and wishing i needed a suit!
probably only helpful if your in London, but two tailors I'd love to wear.

do you ever buy clothes that do not resemble what you already have in your closet?
i feel like when you post in recent purchases, you are posting the same clothes in a different disposition.
ha ha....talk about busting his balls!
If I could afford it, I'd happily buy loads of stuff that has a similar vibe, but i know suits me...nothing wrong with that!

Hi all
I'm looking for some suggestions on tops that have really wide neck openings, of all shapes.
I really want to start layering different tops but all the ones I have at the mo have standard size necks, so doesn't really work.
And I'm no good with a pair of scissors.
Thanks

Elephant-skin watchstrap and Hermes agenda in phoque--that is, seal-skin.
Whilst they look lovely, there is an ever-so-slight element of f**ked-upness about this.

Hey,
Haven't seen a thread on this for a while, interested to see who's producing their own music, what your using etc.
I've just finished a rough mix of my first track, using Ableton Live 7.

Hi all
I'm thinking about buying some new suit trousers online, so can't try them on. If I get a 32, is it a relatively simple job for a tailor to make the waist smaller, maybe to a 30 if need be?
Thanks

I've got 5 of my recent DJ mixes for download at www.mezon.wordpress.com with artwork.
Fairly broad mix of stuff from Arthur Russell to Carl Craig.

Those supershort mutual glimpses with unknown girls on the street, they only last a second or so but you know they were more than just a look.
YES!
Those looks are the nuts, always on the escalators on the underground, going opposite ways.

Tyler - I wear my jeans tucked in and kinda like it. I've got a pair of pretty militant DKNY boots, dark brown, makes me a feel like I stepped out of hell when I wear them and ready to take anyone on. which probably isn't a great thing all the time.
If I tried to wear my jeans over the top, it would look stupid, I wear slim jeans so you'd see the boot trying to 'escape'.
But each to their own. Just don't give me a funny look when i've got them on cos i'll come and stomp on you

Hi all
Can anyone recommend any good brands to get a deep scoop or deep v neck jumper, I really want to get a couple as staple wardrobe bits to mess around with layering tops.
Max budget is probably about £100 though.
thanks

Hi all
I bought a pair of Dior Japanese 21s in a 30" waist last week from Browns London for £165.
After wearing them once I've decided they're too big for me, I'm a 19s person more, so I'm looking to sell them as I can't take them back.
I paid £165 so would be happy with £150, can ship anywhere in the world. Payment would need to be via PayPal. They're not on eBay yet, wanted to offer them here first.
Kind regards
James

out of interest, do you guys wear them with your trousers 'tucked in' or kinda caught at the top - i like that look.
i've got a pair of dkny 'vance' boots in leather, with a rubber toe cover, they're too military for what your looking for, but a similar style, but i'm barely wearing them as the heel is just a little too steep. cost me £300 as well, i blame the bbc for saying a cold weather front was going to hit england and be arctic conditions!

I've had a pair of 30/32 mic rigid's for about a year, wore them a lot to start with and they were super tight (originally had 32/34) but they are now snug round groin and thighs. I'm a 32/34 in slim jims.
Colour wear is virtually none, admittedly i don't wear them hard but when i was wearing frequently it hasn't really done much, so good for smarter occasions and the office.
