How did you set up your home lab? Just learn process at school, find used equipment, etc.? I'm a total amateur and am impressed by the dedication it takes to do film on your own. Would love to not have to count on a lab for development/prints.

Another question: best value modern film point and shoot (with flash)? Was considering contax t2 but they ain't cheap. EDIT: Looked around this and other threads as well as flickr, etc. Prob end up with t2.

Might as well throw this in here, too. Anyone on here print much of their stuff?

Just found this thread--lot of good shit. The medium format shooters make me jealous.

Stuff from this summer, all on a Nikon FE with 50mm lens, mix of films--tri-x, portra, superia. Next buy is a wider lens--maybe 28 f2.8, or maybe a film point and shoot.
