i am so conflicted. i am dying to neg rep but it's so earnest and he is so obviously clueless it's like stealing an ice-cream cone from a retarded kid.
Do you think that this nick alan guy actually made the profile himself or do you think someone just took his pics from lookbook, made a profile and posted them here knowing how sufu would react. Seems odd that this guy would show up here like a day after someone posted a link to him on lookbook in this thread.
If i'm right i'm somewhat disappointed becuase it won't actually be him reading the neg rep comments, which i'm guessing are pretty brutal.

what the fuck. why is this kid negged. .. there's nothing overtly wrong with that fit, he's wearing jeans, desert boots, and a button up. this is stupid, someone plus rep to make it not retarded.
I thought the same thing... looks pretty good overall to me and everything looks to fit well. I basically said to myself if he's getting negged for that how did i ever get +rep for my waywts?

So he's complaining about cheap tacky fads and that his tastes are too good for the rest of the site, but he posts this fit. I'm confused.

jwied82,
i what you've just said about shoe sizing is kinda awkward. if you wear a 42, even in euro shoes (which shouldn't make a difference...so i don't know why you mentioned it), that'd mean you wear a 9. it isn't that difficult a conversion concept to grasp for most people. 42=9. then you say you wear a 10 in athletic shoes. yes...that would make you a 43. what kinda "european" shoes do you wear and what kinda running/athletic shoes do you wear?
Nike, Adidas, Asics, etc. running and athletic shoes always seem to be sized differently than dress shoes and than the european made sneakers i have like CPs, Helmut Langs, etc.
Just saw what Clopek said... so yeah, exactly what he said.

as far as my hair goes, i've been kind of unsure what to do with it for a while. I used to like just wearing it sort of long shaggy and it worked for me, but my hair has started thinning at a pretty early age and so nothing looks all that good anymore... I've thought so many times about cutting it really short or just buzzing it, but that might be just worse.

i'll take the criticism for what its worth... but gigantic feet? I wear a size 42 in european shoes and a US10 in running/athletic shoes. I thought that's pretty normal for my 5'10" height.

I'm thinking about those woven slip-ons but can't decide on the color

MOMA makes some dope looking shoes.. need to cop when the next yoox sale comes around.
from what i've seen on yoox they also make some pretty hideous ones too. But yeah, some look really good, and these seem to be a pretty nice, well-made simple pair of boots. I had been eyeing the buttero lace-ups for a while, but these were about 1/3 of the price of the butteros.

pbj xx-007s. Still a little damp from their second wash. Pics in direct sunlight with no flash.

i agree... i really like that blue oxford. Wish they had it in my size actually, it always seems that by the time online stores have their sales they don't have much left in smalls.

Alot of the outerwear looks nice, and the nylon anorak with ribbed cuffs is definately my favorite thing in the collection... I've always liked pullover windbreakers like that for some reason.
