  1. famous freinds and i heart ny stock some stuff, but they are usually pretty light on stock and options. your best bet is probably going to be http://www.newdandyism.com/ when it opens.

i live in ny and and the only Wood Wood gear I have, is stuff I've ordered from eu, despite the 2 stores I mentioned. and the shipping costs kill you.

  2. just because your getting older doesn't mean you have to dress poorly.

Most kids really don't know how to dress and those are the same kids that grow up and dress poorly as adults.

But the kids w/ some fashion sense will evolve their style as they get older and be fashionable well dressed adults.

It is rear to see a 45 yr old that knows how to dress because of this. don't be that goofy old dude in the oversized baggys.

  3. .... 8. As a whole I find myself spending more money on the unseen pleasures in my life. I recently purchased cashmere socks. In the past I would have much rather purcahsed the Hickey shirt, but it's not like that anymore.

I also spent half my paycheck on Kiels and half the inventory of Anthony Logistics.

    9. The trend across Japan has been this uniform thought on quality, and I believe that there are some, here, that are responding.

    10. Good luck on the paper.

retrored hit this shit right on the head. there is some copy on http://www.newdandyism.com/ that reiterates these ideas. There are definitely some labels catering to this male consumer that want understated details and quality. brands like Nicholas K and rag and bone.

items that you'll want to keep forever, not future landfill.

  4. ndg makes very clean, quality gear but their stores are overpriced and ill stocked compared to other NY retailers. If you want the same or similar labels for the suggested retail and not marked up check out Odin, Steven Alan, Oak, and NewDandyism.
