Honestly, I'd recommend almost any camera by Canon, the pictures come out clear about 99% of the time (although I might be exaggerating a bit). But I have a Sony DSC T-1 and to me that camera sucks big time. In the day the pics taken are fine but try taking it in a club or at night and the pics come out terrible. I've used my dad's canon before (can't remember the model number but its one of the older digital cameras) and the pictures are clear no matter whether its night or day. Just go with Canon, u can't go wrong.

*Just for u flamers out there, this is based on my personal opinion and I'm not advertising for Canon.

If you want to do more than just hemming, then I'd recommend the in-house tailor from Fred Segal Santa Monica. U can ask Jeremy to hook u up. I think the tailor's name is Freddy if I'm not wrong. The man did a good job with my Gucci's and Bluebloods.

For printed Tees, try FOUR SKIN in Heeren. If u looking for the higher end stuff then check out my previous post. As for sneakers, Queensway would be a pretty good bet.

But if u want any stuff like APC, Rag & Bone, Blueblood etc I'd doubt u'd find it in SG. Even if u did find brands like that, their price is definately jacked up by quite a bit.

I'd say go to FEP and Pacific Plaza like everyone says. Another place to check out is Heeren where HMV's located. U might pick up some good kicks there. I think the store was on the 3rd floor. Other than that, I'm not too impressed with Singapore's selection when it comes to clothes. No offence to anyone.

I might be setting myself up for some flaming but IMO SG's selection is really quite limited and the brands that are brought in are pretty much the same. But then its understandable as most pple are not willing to fork over the cash for the good stuff. Another factor is the extremely humid weather which limits most collections to Spring and Summer. Well its just my 2 cents.
