  1. the 'No.2' stamp on patch indicate they are the Second series from Japan before they released the E/U aka Evisu European designs.

you best bet is to take pics of selvedge & stock #'s located inside waist band.

Also, if you go to the Evisu website, i know there is some info where you can email them w/pics and stock#'s for them to verify the authenticity.

you can also check to see on the Evisu website if the store that carries them is an Authorized retailer.

i want a pair of nice denim shorts, like evisu or something. Are denim shorts a sacrilege? i usually dont rock them but i saw some nice ones last time i was checking out jeans

i remember a few years ago Denim shorts was a major fashion fauxpas. but who's to say what validates modern fashion. and i'm assuming if you post here on SF, you are a little ahead of the crowd in sense of style.

But on that same note, denim shorts could go real bad if done wrong. i.e. the too baggy / dipset shants / manpri's look..

i say tread lightly and don't go overboard. Also; dont go too short; last thing you want is having a ball hanging out trying to chill with the homies - NOT A GOOD LOOK.

Um, no offense, but I think that whoever did these designs seriously needs to reconsider getting a new hobby.

In the last several months, I have gone through about 3000 tee-shirt designs, and these fall into the worst category: Poor concept x lack of technique to execute concepts effectively x expensive to print. I agree with the poster who advised the "designer" to look at books on book design (although at this point, reading a couple of dozen books on graphic design wouldn't hurt either. IIRC, the Pasadena Art's Center has graphics design syllabi, including recommended texts on their website).

The only person who would profit from printing these designs would be the screenprinter, and even he would have a moral stain on his soul.

agreed. The font is'nt too terrible, its the execution of.

*unless you have lots of money to print in multiple passes of color, I would go 2 maybe 3; whatever your budget can handle. *I'm assuming you're a start up.

    read some graphic/visual design books.

*But really, I'm not a fan of Jive. I'm not a crazy bape head either; but bape is still better than jive ever was. they've spent more time ripping people off than bape has been un-original.. so weigh out the the lesser of both evils.

    Stussy is still better. IMO!
