brisbane, but my mate ain't 18 yet so if you mean you have seen him out i doubt it.
I have only seen a handful of imperials around brisbane. The place is pretty dead for fashion, specially jeans. BEst stuff you can get at is crappy evisu with those gaudy big full leg gulls and some dunce washed edwins yuck.

Was over one of my friends house today he had his dukes on, took some happy snaps.
He has got to wear his jeans a bit higher though, plus get them taken up, but can't talk him out of it. He wants to have that big a cuff after he washes them.

In addition, I would say :
Imperial Denim http://www.imperial.st not much on the website though, search for haptronic's posts in the 'What are you wearing' thread, his Dukes black washed are just gorgeous
I think they should make them with black stitching instead of white.

could you do the same with washed raw denim. I know this sounds stupid but you know what i mean.
raw denim that has been worn in, washed and shrunk a little.

what is urban outfitters like, upper market?

my raw dukes are the longest pair of jeans i have bought.
Perhaps they make the raw long because they know people like to cuff them?

I live in Australia. Bought mine from a store. Before I found superfuture I was emailing them asking them wash instructions.
Always found information guy to be uber helpful so thats sort of why i don't like to hear denim r slagging them off.
also, denim you sound like you love the jeans why be so cynical?

Denim R i think you are wrong. Every email I have got from them has been all about the denim. Bit annoying after a while when all you want is info.
I've got the feeling these guys are all about the denim and if people come asking for their stuff they would be stoked just to get other denim freaks in their stuff.
By what you said they are obviously not really that interested in the money, only 200 pairs a season thats not enough to live off even

Even so they have obviously got some connections, correct me if im wrong. But they have NDG, acronym, imperial, supreme etc.
A project I have underway has been turned back by all these labels even though we have been running a streetwear store for years.

What is so special about goodfoot/nomad/ransom
Their name keeps popping up on this forum. (sorry ignorance i'm from australia).
How is it they get such good labels?

If I had the money to spend and a shop to fill, i wouldn't worry about generic brands. I would spend time in Japan/Europe/Australia to find new labels and break them into the market.
More risky but more profitable and exciting.

my mate has a pair. not very nice IMHO.

yeah i took it off. Kept it as a souvenir, was worried about it getting cut up on the bitumen when i skate downhill.
thinking back i should have kept it on. My mate's pair the leather tag has faded nicely, the blue from the denim has smudged all over the leather too looks sick.

Imperial blue jeans, worn them for about a year and a bit now, washed them about three or four times.
