I'm in the same boat as you but SF has a good amount of artists that do black work if you don't mind the drive. First stop as soon as I get to go back to California. Eric Jacobsen at Idle Hand, Michael Bennet at 2Spirit, and the rest of 2Spirit do black work, too.

I got a couple pieces from Erik... he does good work... pretty fast too

I'm over the mission right now, way overrated. Maybe im just jaded but after eating and drinking at a couple different spots I don't see the allure any more. Don't get me wrong, there are still some gems. I'm glad the hipsters are moving to oakland though. ps if anybody wants a job at Fitbit let me know, we have like 60 open positions.

Right now Im subleasing a room thats on the lower level of a house (kitchen and rooms with strangers are upstairs) so I never cook. I get by by eating popeyes twice a week, every week. That means I get 4 orders of the Tuesday special + accessories, eat half tuesday then for dinner again wednesday. Its been two months now. I dont know how to feel

Fishermans wharf is insanely crowded... but the fireworks show is the best ive ever been to... seeing them low over the bay and right next to the bridge is a beautiful thing

honestly though, just look at good stuff online so you know what style you want, find an artist thats good at that... decide roughly what you want, i.e. pirate ship or fuckin coffee mug, idk.... let the artist do the rest

yea now that Ive had the bike for a bit, I cant stand the springer... super wide and ugly... once i get some money gonna get some 2 over or 4 over telescopic forks.... already switched to big twin covered shocks (2 inches lower), big twin ducktail fender, panhead style clutch lever, aris rectangle headlight, dragbars (gonna switch to low z's soon), and added a cycle electric generator

next up is two stack two bullet tail light on the side mount license bracket, speedmasters, and mmmmaybe solo seat.... I'm kinda still diggin the seat in the pic now thats its mounted flush
