^Ahahahaha, a little slick talking fixes that problem. I've purchased many mail carrier shirts and postal-related items thanks to my USPS-employed father (not a mailman) telling me how lazy and careless the shop owners are.

Nothing special, my beater 6 mo. old 501XXs, 1 cold soak, and 1 light bathtub wash. Beating on these during holdiay has proven to be much easier than my Sugarcanes and Samurais.

Jeepers, that's quite a thought, but luckily I live in L.A., where if they wanted to do those things to each other, they'd just ask each other instead of resorting to purchasing every bandana under the sun. I'd almost be scared to ask how you know about such practices, but no worries, not a homophobe or gaybasher in any sense.

I've been meaning to gather feedback as to washing my 501XXs as well, just never felt the need to make a whole new topic for it. How bout it lads, think it's wash time? I know they're nothing compared to my Sugarcane 47s, but I've had my fun with them and would like to still keep them to beat, just don'twant too much indigo loss. They have about 7 months of wear, some light sanding on the thighs from griptape follies.

mlpjoject, I'm right there with you, 7 3/4 wearer here as well. As far as shades, if you don't mind a bit of 80s gaudiness, Cazals are great shades for wider=headed folk. My 951s are my hands-down fave shades ever. I've beat my hand-me-down pair from the Father to death, replaced the lenses and temples, and will continue to rock them until they fall apart.

My Cazal 951s are my fave shades ever. Hand-me-downs from my Pops, and beaten to hell, but still stylish and functional after all these years.
