Reebok Supercourt low, by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Although that's the nylon/cloth version, I've found the leather ones to not be as comfortable.
Anybody have experience with the comfort of Keds Triumph?

Pics are up. Although they don't load up when you click on them. I really, really hate the shitty pictures on Steven Alan.

Zaha, what jeans are those... and where in Texas, I've yet to run into one person in Dallas with raws, with the exception of my 2 friends that have them, on a side note, I found a place in Dallas that has a small selection of raw rag&bones and nudies today and another store that had some sweet looking Capital E raws, super skinny looking, and loooong
Those are Slim Jims, and the wash is called broken super used, iirc. Ha, you're in Dallas? Same here. Well, actually I live in Lewisville. I've never seen anyone but myself wearing raw denim. I can't count the number of times I've had a chick tell me 'Those jeans sure are dark'. It's sad, the really 'fashionable' guys here are the ones who are wearing a pair of Zathans they picked up at Off 5th.
What store? Don't hold out on me, dude! I figured there had to be at least ONE plaace in the Dallas area carrying nicer shit. Now if I could just locate a store that carried a good selection of Japanese denim, and one that carried Dior...

It is for the 21 cm. The hem on the Italian made ones in size 28 was 21 cm. For the Japanese made jeans in size 28, the hem was 18.75 cm. Since the jeans don't really taper, the Japanese ones are much slimmer all the way up.

i haven't seen any italian raw jeans in the NYC store, i don't really care where the denim is from particuarly but i do look when i have bought the jeans, the end of the issue is you're not buying DH jeans because the denim is fabulous you're buying the jeans because you can't get the cut anywhere else (19cm at least, maybe the 21's cut are available in other brands)
The cut between the Japanese and Italian made jeans is amazingly different, which makes the salesman ignorance/irritability all the more shitty.

Really like this jacket... http://www.apc.fr/eu/en/fiche_article.php?ref=1C023415200H does any one know the measurements off by hand? for XS and S. I know it says length 68cm but I'm really looking for the chest measurements, I've emailed them but have heard no reply as of yet.
I was looking at the same jacket, and can't decide between an XS and an S. Did they ever get back to you?

Could you give me the actual waist, and thigh at the crotch seam measurements? Thanks.

30 is the smallest size, and I'm selling a pair. You can check out my measurements to see if they might work for you.

You really should have no problem finding that size on eBay. For example, http://tinyurl.com/muy3u
There are also several online retailers that should have examples in your size, such as http://tinyurl.com/rsn8w and http://tinyurl.com/n4pt5 (the 33 in stock might be too big for you though).
Now, if I could just find a pair of raws in size 28...

I gave mine a good soak and a good washing. The shrank a lot, but came out to be one inch over the tagged size exactly, with no wear or stretching from me.Quote:give those fullcounts a good soak before you say they're not true to size
in my experience they do shrink down properly

Very nice! It's hard to say which I like better in terms of fit, because the fading on the 103s is so gorgeous.
Would you say they fit true to size?

Damn you're skinny, and damn those look pretty good on you. You have my respect for representing us stick figured guys.Quote:here is a picture of me wearing the women's rigid (note: NOT RAW) skinnies:
size 26 x 34.

Jeans I will never part with (98% sure):
SSDS - fit like a glove, and my first pair of dry jeans
Denime '66' low - these used to fit great, but they've stretched alot and I've lost weight. Despite that I really, really love them. I wear them hanging off my ass, and feel like quiet the gangsta chap. Especially while standing on the street corner, polishing my monocle and checking the time on my gold pocketwatch.
Julian Red Cali - These have been washed a ton, and I did the whole RIT dye remover/bleach thing on them to speed it up. They have also been tailored in the thigh to fit me better. They look great on me, and no one else would want them with all the work I've done to them.
Jeans I will probably never part with (92% sure):
APC NS - The high waist plus tight hips is a tad annoying at times, but they're a great looking jean.
Washed Jim and Ola - These are my 'normal' jeans. Both are light washes, which is very popular here in Texas. If I want to blend in and not look like a super cool denimhead, these are what I go to. Frequent first date jeans, along with my SSDS.
Acne Mic Punch - Falls into the above category. I love Acne washes, and really want a pair of Black Trash Mic and Lost & Found Max.
I've also got a pair of JR V-boys that I need to get tailored. They're too anti-fit for my tastes. That just leaves the Imperials I'm trying to sell, some Levi 505 redloops that I hate, and a pair of PDC that I never wear (and probably never will). Oh, I've also got two pair of Evisu x Puma, and I'm sure I'll keep one of those, I just need to lock down my sizing and what wash I like.

I picked up two pair of the women's skinny, raw and worn, to compare. I haven't decided which I like better, raw or washed, but I have a size question. I'm about a 29 waist, and was surprised to find that both 30x34 I ordered fit closer to a 32. I can easily pull them down without unbuttoning them.
On the other hand, they are quite skinny in the knee and calf. If I move down to a 28x34, I'm afraid the waist might fit better at the expense of the lower portion of the jean. Anybody (chim?) with the 28 waist want to give me the measurements on the knee and hem?
I'd really appreciate it!

You're cruisin' for a bruisin' buddy...
*tear* why can't I buy jeans that fit?

Thanks man. I really, really wish they were an inch longer. Makes me sad I didn't go with the dry Dukes when I had the chance, even though I am overloaded with dry jeans.

Thanks man! Although, yes, I do have a problem.
I need some kind of program or something...

Just like the title says, I have a pair of Imperial Dukes here, size 30 washed. Imperial only offers them in one wash, so I don't think it has a specific name. It is, however, a gorgeous wash. Very subtle and natural.
The denim has a very solid and soft feel. Hard to describe, but I prefer is very much over the feel of Nudie's washed denim. I guess you could compare it to a thicker Julian Red washed denim.
They're pretty slim, without being skin tight. They are selvage, and it goes all the way up. Very distinctive back pocket design, without being obnoxious. The buttons are really neat too - they're much wider than normal jean buttons. Always takes me by surprise when I go to unbutton them.
I've worn these maybe four times, and have not washed them. They're just a tiny bit too short for me. Probably not noticeable to anyone else, but it bugs the shit out of me.
Measurements:
Waist: 15" - this is me pulling the waistband out, releasing, and then
measuring. They are a true 30 here, no vanity sizing.
Inseam: 32 1/4"
Thigh: 9 1/2" - measured about 3 or 4 inches below the crotch
Knee: 7 3/4"
Hem: 7 1/4"
Front rise: 10"
Back rise: 12 1/2"
Asking $145 shipped. Feel free to ask questions or just give me some feedback/comments on them.
Pics!

Final bump before eBay. $130 shipped. I'm seriously wincing at how low that price is.

You've got some nice stuff there, although I don't really know what to make of your method for measuring the waist of your jeans.
Would you consider deals outside of eBay?

I'm interested in the Silas Baseball Wool Jacket, can you give me some measurements? Chest when zipped, length, and underarm to cuff would be awesome, dude.
