It says in the left pocket he carries a coin case and ticket stub holder and a regular wallet in the right pocket.Quote:i've checked out his canes so many times. it keeps getting better. does he have two wallets or what? is this a japanese thing? like a wallet and a card case or something? i noticed this on the eternal 811s on denim-gallery/heavy.

anti fit probably fits well on fat dudes with j-lo asses but it results in a parachute ass for skinny/normal people

This would be the slim fit
I'm looking for something that fits similar to 501's but with a less baggy ass.. Does anyone know how the non-slim fit wranglers compare to the 501s?

how does the fit on these compare to 501xx's, specifically the seat? I like to sag a little and it looks bad on 501's because of the anti-fit, do the wranglers fit better on skinny people and not have such a baggy ass as the 501s?
oh, and what size are you wearing in that pic, cheapmofo? (and your height/weight too please if you do not mind)

staffords have a good cut but are waaaay too long (I am 5'11 150 lbs and wear a small and the shit goes down 9 inches past my belly button. Also the collar seems kind of high so it rides onto your neck and gets annoying.(has anyone else noticed this??)

30.2 inches, if you fit a 30 in other jeans it should fit fine

Ok.. Ive had like 6 offers and no one seems to want to finalize the deal for some reason
next person who emails me with an offer of $100+shipping and pays me via paypal [email protected] gets the jeans.

APC New Standards would fit those requirements

maybe there was a jealous denimhead that was working in the customs
sorry about what happened, and it does sound pretty sketchy to me.

hige

pronunciation is more like he-ge (ge like gecko) theres no "ay" sound in the japanese language
and you are correct in saying that it means beard/moustache/whiskers.

I have a pair of APC New Standards bought early this year, I've worn them 6 or 7 times max, no permanent creases have set and I haven't washed them or starched them or anything. They are basically new and I would like to get $100 + shipping costs for them. Reason I am selling is because I am working on a pair of levi's and don't feel like wearing in two pairs of jeans at once (these were an impulse buy because they fit me well). I will be shipping out of California, USA. Paypal/Money orders only. I can be reached on AIM: taromakino or email: [email protected]
Thanks for your interest, and here are some pics:

Sorry to bring this thread back but I just bought a pack of stafford heavyweights and I am really pleased with the overall fit, but I find these to be RIDICULOUSLY long. The package doesnt indicate that they are Tall (They are size S, I doubt they make size small in tall). I am just wondering how you guys fit into these shirts, I am probably going to get them shortened in length by like 3 inches because the fit is pretty much perfect. I am 5'11 and 155 lbs.

Is it possible to avoid the bulging knee/twisted leg problem with the cheap 501xx's? The same problems have happened on two pairs for me and I am buying a third pair soon.

They were actually perfectly fine for about a week, then once i started wearing them in the right leg started twisting inwards and the knees started bulging. I think it may be the jeans, because I dont hear anyone with the sugarcanes complaning about this problem that many stf owners have.

I have a new pair of size 28 APC new standards that I bought in January, they have only been worn like 5 times since I've been too busy trying to get wear in my 501xx's. I did a cold soak to shrink the length to around a 33 and the waist measures a 30. I haven't worn them enough to get any permanent creases or fading so you could get the length altered (or maybe first wash will bring them down some more). I will be shipping from California so let me know if you are interested. I can take pics if you want too.

This bothers me too, does anyone know of a fix? they seem fine when i lay them flat on the ground but when i put them on the right leg is twisted inwards.Quote:has anyone else noticed on some stfs, it is slightly off on one leg, like a bit twisted inwards towards the leg opening

I've been wearing a pair of stf's from jc penney but I wish the seat was less baggy (anti-fit, i think). If am understanding correctly, serge is saying that the levi's made in the USA have less anti-fit (therefore a less baggy seat) and I would be interested in getting a pair. I googled levis made in USA and got to this site, http://www.501usa.com/levi501.htm
If i ordered a pair of stf from that site would they have a less baggy fit (like the pre '97 fit)?
thanks in advance for any responses

Low rise slim fit straight leg jeans on a budget - recommendations please
in superdenim
Posted
Looking for something that is low rise, slim fit, and straight leg and for less than say 40 dollars. Ive looked into 501 stfs, wrangler 13mwz, wrangler 936. The 501 stfs and 13mwz did not fit me well because the seat was too baggy and the legs were too wide. I did soak them to shrink and they still didn't fit me well. I like the fit of the 936 but I want something that is a lower rise. What I am looking for is the type of old levi's that rockers used to wear.. something that you would see morrison wearing.
one thing - no women's/girls jeans please
Im going to kohls tommorow to check out the levi's 514 and see how they fit (I believe they are stretch jeans, I've never worn stretch jeans before so im not sure if i will like them)
thanks in advance for your recommendations
