    @Surver, It wall depends from the style you want to get- more or less formal. Voronoi and blazer LT works well together as Friday casual look at the office. Apparat is cropped and more street wear.

    yeah suppose so, thx.

  2. hi everyone,

    new to this forum; would like some advice:  am trying to put together a summer black "suit" and it seems that only the BLAZER LT & VORONOI share the same material/fabric... but also see that parts of the APPARAT also have the same nylon/elastine fabric... do you guys think the BLAZER LT & APPARAT would make a good set?  or would the different fabric jump out too much?  want a subtle match... thanks in advance :)

    look better than the presto, just nothing really original and too much branding from my point of view.

    agree.  i think he's just trying to ride on the hype of the presto release

  5. i own the j46 from last season and it's great. i handled this fw's version and the hand felt different, seemed glossier and less "sturdy" if that makes sense.

    fully agree

  6. Whaddup, fellas;

    Any of you J46-WS owners care to share some thoughts on it? I'm contemplating if I should buy or not. Being one of the plainer jackets, I wonder if it still has that "fuck yeah!" factor when one handles it? Are you blown away quality wise?

    Also, I live in a place where it is usually between 32 and 17 fahrenheit (0 and -8 celsius) in the winter. How will it fare in these temperatures?

    I also wonder how practical the feature of being able to zip the neck all up is. Is it just for looks, or does it add a noticeable difference in protection/warmth?

    Finally - did any of you size up?

    Thanks

    the J46 is actually my favourite acrnm jacket precisely due to its subtle take on the classic trench coat.  i have the J46-S from last winter, which i basically wore all winter; couldn't wear anything else after trying it on.  if the insulation is the same, it's super warm and super versatile.  i've also tried on the J46-WS from this season, and found the sizing slightly looser then the -S version perhaps due to the material difference; personally i like the -S version better because of the 'structure' of the material.  i am 175m tall and size S fits perfect, even with layering under but its warm enough to not need too many layers underneath.

  7. I visited Ink today to try on a few pieces. Their prices are marked up about 50% higher than most US-based retailers.

    That said, I'm not sure why you consider their pricing "disrespectful". Their physical storefront is in an area of Hong Kong that commands very high rent. Also, they are still a relatively small shop, and they need to make money as well; as you know, brick and mortar stores are having an increasingly hard time competing in retail. Besides, Ink's main clientele seems to be the rich Chinese from mainland... so if they're able to sell-through their inventory at their marked up prices, then more power to them.

    Overall, they're still supporting Acronym by making buys season after season. Their pricing doesn't impact you, just don't buy from them and let them be. There is no need for boycotting...

    sure. to each his own.
