does soaking/washing from a washing machine compared to shower or a hand wash vary to achieve maxium shrinkage? hope this makes sense.

You could try holding a piece of white paper infront of it, or some white semi transparent plastic.. If you ever get an external flash i would recommend that you also get an omnibounce, like this one: http://www.digicamshop.nl/images/product/image.php?id=7628

the 45s are pretty fitted. no baggy ass, skims my legs down to the knee, straight from the knee down.

for some reason mine are just baggy. i ended up washing them because i thought that would have fully shrunk them down (which i shouldnt have done) after the wash they still feel pretty baggy.

carefully line them along the inside of the washing machine for the spin cycle so that they don't get weird creasing

i wish i did that to my canes. i tried to carefully wash them because they were still a bit baggy and they eneded up having some creased lines all throughout the jeans. oh well yo win some you loose some.
