I think those are only available in a few places. I found 3 legit shops and sent them an email to see what they have but I'm not too worried, another friend is going to Belgium for summer. Will have a bigger list for her. Haha.

Coworker is going to Rome. She asked if I wanted anything. All I could think of was laundry list of cantillon (fou foune, rose de grambrinus, and vigneronne). Am I missing something?

Might b up for it depending on what day it falls on.

Who else joined the Bruery Reserve Society? It ended up selling out last night which longer than I had expected.

I don't think you can get a growler of barrel aged beers.

I can offer the same as well but I'm in San Diego. Just create a FedEx account so whatever is picked up can be billed to you.

Anyone else going to try for the bruery RS on Monday? Will try and join but might end up trying to split it with someone as I only want a few of the releases.

How was Veritas 010?
I liked it but I think what we had was poured directly poured from the barrel. It wasn't overly tart, you were able to taste peaches and have a slight souring but the aftertaste I got was something along the lines of graham crackers.
I was kind of disappointed on the organization of the event though.

San Diego beer week. This is going to be expensive. At lost abbey barrel party. Some cool stuff for 2012.

anyone in Nor Cal...
Gonna take my Dad on a trip to tour a brewery for his 60th, was thinking Lagunitas, but if anyone else has a recommendation I'd love to hear Hoping for something within 2 hours of Sac.
Yo! Lived in sac for awhile.I was just there a few weeks back. Your best bet is RR. It's about 2.5hrs from south sac/elk grove area depending on traffic. Along the way is lagunitas, Marin, another one I forget, then RR.
Edit.
Not sure if RR does brewery tours. The brewery and brewpub are separated but within a few blocks.

it was a few months back but it ended around 3k for bottles 02-10.
i'd never spend that much and i've missed my share of releases but then again my pockets aren't deep. haha

i wouldn't say its gouging if people are bidding on the beer. whoever is spending $400 on a bottle of yellow bus or $3000 on the whole vertical epic series, its their choice to want the beer.

I need a new friend in the PNW as my friend just moved back.

Yea it was 30 a bottle and I muled for people on BA. I would never pay more than the price of the beer especially on eBay. If I was dropping 100 on a bottle itd probably be on a single malt scotch.

Thanks guys. It was on the 250 but the handlebar guards saved everything. I rode for a week before getting casted. Bummer. No more riding until 2012.

Surly grew on me. I didn't really like wet hopped beers before but now I can appreciate the earthiness to them.

I just had a package that consisted of those and I'm already down to my last 2 heady toppers.

Was debating on 3 but opted for 2. I think I will just sign up for the RS when it's open.

Some asv levers would be nice.
In other news... Said fuck it and cut off my cast. I couldn't miss anymore riding before the weather gets too shitty here.
