This has to be some type of sick joke....
please tell me you are joking?

The new ones are coming out in December.
Perhaps you are talking about the ones on their website? They have been out for awhile and I know that the Marc Jacobs Soho store is completly sold out of them. It's a little late for those, but the new ones are coming out in December.

Alexander McQueen has two really nice ones in his fall collection:
Probably extremly expensive though.

Darkanimal (I sent you this in a PM also),
I'm trying to figure out what size to get in Diors. Could you tell me how many inches across the waist your 28s measure? If it isn't too much trouble could you also include the thigh measurement?
0 -
If you don't mind could you share the waist (tag size and actual), thigh (at crotch), and opening measurments?
0 -
Yeah. A tag size 31 would usually measure 32.5''-33.5'' for almost any brand (some brands do make their raw / dry clean only pants that strech very close to the actual size so that you do not need to buy a size or two down). Take into account that raw denim can strech an additional 1''-3'' and that's how you get the 36'' waist.
My size 27 APC New Standards measure 32''.

You can return them if you got them from the APC website if they are still in saleable condition.

Those are really nice.
I assume based on some of your past posts that you will be removing the "Vans" tag.
It's pretty easy to remove the tag, but I don't know how to remove the other "Vans" logo printed on the back of the shoe. Is there any way to remove this?

I think it may have happened once or twice when I had diarrhea, but I am pretty I would have thrown those out.
If wiping correctly is too difficult for you there is always Depends.

You guys have to rub it in, don't you?

Just wondering Fade, how tall are you and what size are those? I tried on a pair of distressed Dior jeans but the distressing look very off because of my height. Those look perfect on you.

I have to admit I am an idiot and that this is pretty funny.
I went to Beacon's Closet first but I became really exhausted after looking through half a rack of clothes because of how tightly they were packed. It was very difficult to take things off the rack to get a look at them and even more difficult to put them back on. Screaming Mimi's on the other hand was very well organized and much more spacious.
I am fine with the black jacket that cost $58 and has a similar look to the Memebers Only jacket and the $45 cotton argyle vest. The fits are extremly slim and for me @ 5'11'' and 130 pounds it hard to find stuff that fits like that. It's a bit pricy, but to me it is worth it for those two items.
The only item that I am upset about is the "Members Only" jacket. I would be fine paying $78 for it, if Urban Outfitters was not massively reproducing the exact same jacket... I do not think Screaming Mimi's should carry any "Members Only" items considering they are still in massive production. I would not want it even if it was offered to me for free. Unfortunately I am stuck with it..... [to be continued].

You probably know this but just in case you don't that's Woody Allen (and actor) printed on the shirt.

That's absolutely disgusting.
I can understand little kids having skid marks on their underwear or someone getting them if they have really bad diarrhea.....

I guess that is how the store would justify that...
I feel so ripped off. $200 ($68 Vintage Jacket similar to Members Only, $78 Members Only Jacket, $45 Sweater Vest) down the drain and I am on an incredbly small budget. Oh well, at least I learned?
From now on I'm sticking to the $500 vintage t-shirts at Jeffrey.

Are those the "Tight Jean"? They look like the "New Standards"...

I paid $78 for a vintage Memebers Only jacket. The salespeople explained it as a unique but popular jacket from the late 70s / early 80s.
As far as I can tell this jacket is the exact same thing except that it is new:
http://www.karmaloop.com/products.asp?ProductID=8542&VendorCode=MEM
but there it only costs $59.
Am I missing something?
Edit: I just found the exact same jacket in the exact same color:
http://www.revolveclothing.com/productpages/MEMB-WO9.jsp
The measurements listed on karmaloop.com are identical to the Members Only jacket I purchased at Screaming Mimi's.
I'm just really pissed off that I spent about 2 hours looking through their store and ended up paying more for a used version of something that I could buy new for cheaper. Even worse is the fact that these jackets are massively available at places like Urban Outfitters.
Their receipt says "No returns".... I'm really pissed off. Do you think there is any way I can get my money back?

My New Standards (they are called Standards on the website) fit very slim. I can't really say they fit like Dior because not all Dior's fit the same. Dior and APC are both great.
The men's tight jean (as well as all of their men's jeans) only go down to size 29. They have a woman's tight jean but available from sizes 25 to 32 but it is a lot tighter around the thighs than the men's tight jean.

I'm almost positive they are available @ CDG in Chelsea. They start @ $1000.
I might stop by after they go on sale (does CDG have sales?), to see see if they are worth getting for $500+.

Which is why I am asking....
They sell Izod Lacoste polos at vintage stores a few subway stops down the L away from Jeffrey for a lot cheaper than $80. I was just wondering if the ones at Jeffrey were somehow better, older, ect...
I probably should ask at the store, but I would feel kind of uncomfertable asking for an explanation of the price.

Jeffrey always has a few Izod Lacoste polos on their vintage rack for $80. Are there different scales of Izod Lacoste polos and if so how can you tell?
Basically, if I want a vintage Izod Lacoste polo what should I be looking for or are they all the same?

Those are awsome, except for the Vans logo on the bottom back of the shoe...

A copy of the PM I sent to Dangydang in case anyone else is interest...
Yes, I do live in the US, right outside of New York.
I am almost positive that this is what I bought in "black coffee":
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=7192&pid=316367
The model they are using is probably wearing 32x34 or something around that size and in my opinion the photo does not do the cords justice. I would post pictures of what they look like on me (very good for $29.95 in my opinion) but I do not have a digital camera!

The smallest waist size they make is a 29.... I might be okay with that, but not with the 30 inch inseam. It's disgusting that they make 48x30 and not 28x32 or even 29x32.
