  1. andrew and kumo... fantastic fit on those... way jealous

andrew, did you retire the lee's? or just adding these to the rotation?

    not retiring quite yet

the crotch area is getting a little thin

so i sewed in a bit of a re-enforcement the other day

they'll still see playing time, just not as much

  2. andrew those look mint, I think 2000db has just orderd me a pair, ive gone for 31 too so your pics make me feel a whole lot better about not sizing up.

thanks, i was really worried they werent going to be slim enough for my tastes

its hard to tell considering i own pants ranging from 28-32's

but with everyone telling me to size up

i figured it would be best to just stick with my true size and soak or wear accordingly

you will not be disappointed with these pants.

  3. andrewfuncrew and junglejane have the same flooring in their rooms! Looks like a floor made of chorizo.....

That soak really seems to help set the stack and creases, andrewfuncrew's fit has gotten me to where I need some XX005's...

    we both live in italy

but apparently she is about 1hr 30 north :0

  4. pbj1.jpgpbj2.jpg

    finally

    finally

i know pictures of jeans someone jsut bought are boring

but everyone elses pics helped me order the right size

so i thought i'd return the favor

    sz31, cold soaked for 3-4hours

    i'm 5'11'' 175lbs

    very satisfied with these jeans

  5. my advice is to either get your regular size OR size one up if you have wide hips. the reason for this is the low rise of the XX-005. these jeans are not good to size down on if you soak before wearing.

if you wear 31 in nudie, go for 31 in PBJ or 32.

i don't think i plan on soaking before wearing

and i do like my jeans to fit really tight

the lower the rise the better for me

BIG is now out of 30's so i'm considering 29 or 31 here

if im not going to be able to button 29's then ill get 31's

but i'm just a bit skeptical of getting pants that will fit looser than i'd like them to

anymore experience would be greatly appreciated

  6. thinkin im going to order a pair of these pbj xx005's tomorrow

    i'm 5'11 175lbs

    wear a 29 in my lee 101z

and a 31 in nudie i had in the past

i like to wear my jeans pretty snug throughout

i was thinking i would go with the 30, but am unsure

any sizing help would be greatly appreciated!!

  7. minerals cover of crazy was amazing.

lifetime was the best although I wouldnt consider them "emo"

mineral's love my way cover is 10x better

i may be wrong, but sunny day, mineral, boy's life, early jimmy eat world, etc ect...

i don't feel that they were musically part of the emo genre.

people in the "emo so-called scene" loved and listened to those bands, but it was also fashionable at the time to listen to the smiths.

they were part of the scene, but wasn't there some mention (not on this thread) of that sound being post hardcore/post emo. i have heard it even coined as "math-rock."

i am not trying to start a emo-related genre debate, but wondered if anyone was as deluded as myself. thanks.

the argument of what is and what isn't genre wise will see no end.

  8. Stuntastic and adnrewfuncrew, did you soak your Lees? I want to know if these things shrink. Tag on it says it'll shrink, but Lees are known for being sanforized, aren't they. I have a pair that I'm ambivalent about. They look good faded (not mine, I'm talking about andrew's), I like the different color stitching, but the back looks saggy on me and the pockets are a little long on me.

i have yet to soak or wash so i can't really help with the shrinkage issue.

i've heard that a lot of lees are sanforized, but i feel like someone mentioned that these are not. im tempted to soak as mine are getting a bit loose around the waist area, but i think i'll hold out. i really didnt like the pockets at first, but i've received many compliments just because they are different.
