  1. My 3 months new standards stretched a lot in the crotch, seems like apc denim tend to stretch quite a bit, so I assume your Cures will continue to stretch in stressed areas...

i just bought a pair of raw APC narrows. It says they are unisex so there is no difference between mens and womens cuts? They both use the same picture. They didn't have a 29 in mens so i got the 29 in womens. Should be the same same right?

Actually, the Cure is not unisex, as long as it comes in different men and women cuts. I believe the apc womens cuts are slightly slimmer, and have a lower rise (4button fly) than mens ones (5button fly). The girls cuts have also an 'F' on the size tag.

The new standard/standard cut is the only unisex cut they have. It's the same cut from 25 to 36.

    I hope this is understandable.

  3. Diors 19cm are definately tight jeans... Luisaviaroma messed up the pics for SS06, it seems that they inverted pics of 19cms and 21cms...

    - 19cms are really low rise, with slim legs, and very tapered down the knee

    - The 21cms have a straight leg, and are more roomy all the way down, they are just a regular - low rise pair of jeans.

As always, the look all depends on how you wear it, and which size you choose...

Also, it seems that there is 3 cuts in DH jeans 21cm, 19cm, and "Tight" jeans also called 17cm (which are supposed to be even more tighticon_smile_shock.gif)...

    As for online retailers, I believe there's http://www.luisaviaroma.com , http://www.yoox.com , http://www.eluxury.com and http://www.brownsfashion.com

  4. You're welcome hap icon_smile_wink.gif

By the way, strictly off topic but, I think you put up the mod look really well on the Superman thread ! (I let the author of the above mentionned thread doing the critique, Im no extreme-geek, nor swedish !)

  5. The D.A. : When did you get your pair ? My pair was pretty tight in the crotch area at first, but they stretched within 1-2 weeks... Wear them, they will stretch ; or wet the area you want to stretch and wear them while they're still damp.

poly : Well, I thought that new standards had a regular rise myself, but I guess I just like lower rise jeans icon_smile_wink.gif

The Acne "Dry clean" wash is the best pair of washed jeans I've ever seen. Amazing.

minya : That's exactly what I thought when I first saw them in a shop few months ago, they're just beautiful... icon_smile_wink.gif

Handlethevibe : I don't know if you had the opportunity to see them 'for real', but actually they look about a thousand times better in person than on the website (which is the case for all their denims unfortunately)... icon_smile_cool.gif

  7. In addition, I would say :

    Acne Jeans http://www.acnejeans.com

    A.P.C. http://www.apc.fr

Imperial Denim http://www.imperial.st not much on the website though, search for haptronic's posts in the 'What are you wearing' thread, his Dukes black washed are just gorgeous

Also, some Dior Homme washed jeans are nice, but really expensive for what it is...

    edit :

    I almost forgot the only pair of washed Nudies that looks right, Regular Ralf 'Authentic Deluxe' selvage... http://www.nudiejeans.com & http://www.mynudies.com ;

and Julian Red Hoboken Nikki Sixx http://www.fos5.com for a skin tight fit.
