  1. Item is now sold

This is a Thom Browne suit in his classic medium grey, in a wool mohair mix fabric (which is somewhat rare as far as I can tell for Thom). This makes it a pretty good SS suit as mohair doesn't retain heat as much. Also this is half lined for extra comfort.

I've not worn this so this is still effectively brand new. Letting it go as I have way too many suits. Looking to get about what I paid which is about SOLD. Do send me reasonable offers though!

  2. I'm generally a 96 cm chest and the VA is a tad too tight for me so it should be just about right for you. The Julius has just been sold.

Anyways price drop on the VA to US$230 shipped plus split PP fees!

  3. No hate or nothing for the guys who use Kiwi polish (seen quite a few posts recently stating the use of Kiwi), but thought i'd recommend giving Saphir polish a go - even the regular, non-Medaille D'Or stuff. I find that a little goes a long way, it polishes better, it provides more pigmentation, it nourishes the leather more (in that it doesn't become as dry as Kiwi) and it sure smells a lot better. If you want to get some on the cheap, try the British footwear shops and ask for Tricker's polish - which is essentially the same stuff as the baseline Saphir polish but at a pretty sweet price. Oh and they have a pretty decent range of colours. For a wider selection you'd have to go with regular Saphir-branded stuff though.

  4. Yeah Muji fits tend to vary between releases.Sometimes they're boxy as hell, sometimes they're passably slim but still a little billowy. Their rather irregular release schedule means you'll never quite know what you'll get. Well for what they cost, you can probably afford to have them taken in by a tailor anyway. Between Uniqlo and Muji though (if you have access to both), go for the Uniqlo - the current fabrics are more substantial.
