  1. has the infamous incident been linked too yet on sufu?

Don't think so... sounds like a job for SUPERTRASH, though since no one knows him here, it'd be pretty anticlimactic.

  2. I ACTUALLY know that chick.......that's insane!!!!

Her boyfriend is indeed, a flaming idiot, and she is much hotter than she looks in that picture...........weird.

I dunno, she looks pretty hot in that pic--it's just that her accessorizing is much worse than his.

  3. Is that last dog pissing on the laptop?

I'm going to just go ahead and assume that he was offended by something vanity said, and being quite a young puppy, didn't entirely realize that his attempt at retribution was misdirected. But A+ for effort though. Kid's got heart.

  4. What if old guy with poor sphincter control is a poor, Democrat voting immigrant who can only afford tennis shoes. Oh, and he's wearing a schhmahmeaghah and has dynamite strapped to his chest?

They've actually been discussing an experimental new way to stab people across the internet just in case that happens. No lie.

As for your fit, ace accessorizing.

  5. Blame it on the old guy in the corner of the elevator who likely has poor sphincter control. I have no idea if this is what trads would do or not. Why not ask Andy?

Because at AAAC, they'd blame it on (in order): immigrants, Democrats, people who wear tennis shoes and other forms of "sneakers" for purposes other than playing badminton on the lawn, the poor, minorities, and The Terrorists.

  6. Pseudo thread-jack: fellow Philly dwellers, where do you go for wings? I've got a friend who swears by Moriarty's, which is solid, but they've never really blown me away.

Poly, seriously--Mad Mex?! I've never had anything good there, though I haven't tried their wings. Are they actually decent?

  7. Robin's is cool, and is across from Izzo if you want to check out whether they've got any good Costume National. Tons of magazines.

There are a couple nice used book stores on 2nd St. just north of Market, but for the life of me I can't remember their names. One has an incredibly chill cat who hangs around most of the day. I have no idea why I can't remember either of the bookstores' names.

  8. in no particular order: mike lowery, kumo, haptronic, tg76, stay handsome

honorable mention: saucemaster (from the other sf, perfect fit on basically everything)

Wow. Thanks, though I shouldn't be eligible, should I?

Tops on this board, for me, no particular order:

    lowrey

    rira

    hap

    bizzy

    digital_denim

    tg76

    chris

stayhandsome/youwish, asuzano, and darkanimal get mentions, but don't post often enough.

  9. oh for jeans .. there's one in locust st ... called academy cleaners ... have my jeans hemmed there and she does a really great job.. its between broad and 15th st.

Academy Cleaners is fine for hemming and minor stuff like that. For any major alterations, I use Premier Alterations--1726 Sansom.

  10. alright so I went down there this afternoon and I was thouroughly impressed. Liz, the owner, was super nice and seems to have big plans. The store was still being finished, there is a whole back room yet to be done. but the front looks really nice and has a lot of product for being such a new store. thats one thing i hate, when people open stores and have 3 shirts hanging. there wasn't a ton of clothes yet, hysteric glamour on the way, denim for chile. she had shirts/bags/pillows from upper playground, shirts from wowch, alex+chloe jewelry, womens stuff from doe, all kinds of random gift stuff from japan. cool watches. def a place to check out and to keep an eye on to see what she will get in the future.

Just stopped by on my way home from work... cmykhustla pretty much summed it up. She's expecting Hysteric Glamour in March, she said, and she's still not sure exactly what all she's going to carry--she said she's still trying to figure out just who her clientele consists of. Definitely going to be carrying both men's and women's, and it sounds like plenty of clothing. Apparently the guys from Wowch are going to be in Philly tomorrow, and she's hoping they may stop by, in case anyone cares.

  11. Well, it's nice to have confirmation--at excruciating length--that Shark is every bit as shallow and materialistic as he seems.

Shark: your life is a waste. You just don't know it yet. You know what your "values" produce? Paris motherfucking Hilton.

One thing we agree on, though, this is kind of fun. Which is why I'm not following minya's advice.

  12. No, I got what you wrote. It's just, if you're going to take the time to type out such a seemingly intellectual reply, you might as well adhere to the rules of the English language.

I'm entirely at peace with my values. Thanks for your concern.

That you've been reduced to attacking someone's grammar--on superfuture, no less, and despite that fact that you understood the post perfectly well--pretty much indicates that you've lost. Accept it and move on.

It's probably for the best that you're happy being a douche. Better than being *unhappy* about your douchebaggery; look where that got Terrell Owens.

That last sentence, technically, required a subject, but I'll assume that you're all grown up, and can understand it anyway.

EDIT: off for the evening. Cultpop, tag.

  13. That sentence isn't even grammatically correct. More a consequence of yadda yadda yadda than yadda yadda yadda.

If you're going to argue a point, at least do so in a coherent manner.

Are you really going to pretend that you didn't understand what I wrote? Or are you just that stupid?

The "...than they are the result of an upbringing capable of instilling even the most rudimentary ability to make a life for yourself that's actually worth living" was implicit.
