  1. definetely goto bariloche, its like a cooler, cheap aspen. there are some very cool boutique hotels in palermo viejo, do a google search. a friend stayed at the malabia which was very unique, discreet, and hospitable, but its small so vacancy is sometime tough to find.

  2. Setaga-ya is all about the hype, but im with you. Minca is the best bowl of ramen in new york city. I am yet to try Ippudo however. I cannot understand though why the fuck Minca doesn't cook their egg like Setaga-ya...

With all the hype Setaga-ya is getting, Minca is still my favorite.
  3. minas are woman and by saying cronological order i meant more as an expression in that the lomitos are at the top of the menu, then bruschettes, then asados de tiras, then ojo de bife, then duck confit, cerdos - costillas y matambrito, then chorizo, followed by vacio and veg at the very bottom...

  5. i want to get a bag made by bagjack...however you cannot order them from their website and i cant make out the instructions or text on the website. from what it looks like (although I speak not german) is that you pretty much have to goto a store to get one and cannot just order directly on the website. so...anyone who can either point my in the direction of a bag, be a proxy, or offer any other insight please do so.

  6. other good places to eat...patagonia sur, maat gourmet privado, hotel alvear, la cabrera, bar uriate, osaka, cabaña las lilas. let you know what kind of food you like, ill point you in the right direction...as far as shoes, unless you dance tango, there isn´t much.

  7. if your thinking the northern hemisphere summer think cold in buenos aires...sights...not too much rediculously tight things to see. neighboorhoods i guess...palermo, recoleta, puerto madero...mabye a bit of sam telmo, the boca is shit, to much tourist vibe. i recommend you eating lots of beef is what i recommend you do...and many other things as well for that matter, lots of excellent restaurants..just ask if your looking for something special.

  8. just get a used pista...fuck what every says. it was my first fixed bike and the only thing i ever need to replace were the wheels after 6 months working everyday as a messenger.

  10. limiteditions stocks some spanish designers, walk down carrer d'avinó (starts at carrer ferran) in barri gotico and on the right side there are two boutiques that stock a ton of independent spanish menswear. i just remembered as well a must see shop in el born it is like two shops towards the water from the carhartt store...also a little above princessa on carrer rec there is a funky shop that carries umbro kj and some other cool stuff i dont remember names...pick up the flyers, maps, and pamphlets in the front of all the stores and you will find all of these places eventually.
