  1. my italian is for shit, but i bought it anyway and i am majorly disappointed.

the first problem was that i saw most of the spreads online before it even dropped stateside, which ruined it for me.

    the good!

    1. i loved the beauty spread with chanel iman (?) in "blackface"--i dont know how else to describe it. i thought the makeup was gorgeous!

    2. sessilee looked amazing and really needs to be booked way more.

    3. i couldn't tell if it was an ad for wayfarers or what, but there was a go see spread with a bunch of models. i thought it was cute.

    the soso

    1. i thought there would be more shots of tyra (who i can't stand, but gives great face)

    2. the retrospective of the OG models was cool, even though i'll need babelfish to translate

    3. naomi of course looked amazing but i saw them all like 3 weeks ago! (speaking of supermodels i hate those linda evangelista prada ads she looks mad awkward)

i would have preferred many more shots of karen alexander and where was louise vyent and beverly johnson! the shots of tocarra were blah.

  2. yea its for women who tuck into their boots

i mean this is horrendous though

like sometimes u have to take the L and say this trend is not for me

i dont know my calves are not small so finding boots that fit is already a problem let alone tucking in my jeans

it only worked with my tight cropped jeans that had a fitted bottom

i catn imagine paying 230 for jeans that i can only wear tucked in

    thats just dumb

  3. i like the fact that people are actually getting paid well while sexually harassed

um i bought 2 skirts there this summer

i find that the unisex stuff looks horrible on me cause i have breasts

but i think some tees are okay not the greatest but they are a good store to buy emergency clothes

esp since they stay open late

  4. you mean like nonflared just tight and straight all the way down?

    i assume you a girl

what i do is go online and just look at every denim line till something catches my eye then i go to the store and try them on

i think saks.com may categorize their jeans by fit

  5. her contacts are awful

i have no issue with fronts though

as for the comment about fat american women

    yea well

tapered jeans are ugly as shit and remind me of discos

but get in where you fit in

i know ive seen fat girls in the uk

  6. i dont have one style donger

    i wear whatever

the only consistency i have is in my shoes

however im doing fordham rd circa 1992 this fall

i wont go as far as 5411s but i am getting some jordans

  7. i dont thats why i said maybe i misunderstood

    so explain it to me

are you goin for a stiff look i think the air drying thing that was mentioned makes sense

and yea i dont know dirty clothes on clean skin is pretty nasty to me

but then again im not a dude and i think a lot of dudes have nasty ways

  8. gotcha

    and she makes me jealous

but really not cause im sure in dresses its not cute only in thongs

anyway i have no idea what she means

i cant imagine them adding material to the seat of the pants so i assume she has to either buy mens jeans

and i know big girls that do this by big i mean husky not thick and get them tailored throughout

or she may just get bigger womens jeans and get the waist taken in

those are the only solutions i can think of

i mean the gap goes up to like size 16 but high end denim i think they stop at 32 so it sorta depends on what u are trying to get tailored

  9. ive seen the tapered leg its also unflattering

    interesting point jj

but i have to deduct points for the usage of terms metro and urban

if people have to go as far as to rip off logos maybe they should um get a life

    or buy jeans w.out logos

they also make humanities with a tiny ass h

i guess i will have to see if people actually buy them

cause people still insisten on wearing those horrible A pockets

i wont front ive done the logo thing it was 2000 i had a thing for ghetto fab back then

  10. Quote:

TNF has gone downhill in jacket design in the past 10 years.

arcteryx and patagonia are the best imo when it comes to technicality + style, but dont be afraid of checking out lesser known brands, like lowe alpine and moonstone. i like marmot and moutain hardwear, but a lot of technical gear is just lacking on style points.

    check these ngaz out: http://www.beyondfleece.com

they do made to order custom soft shells and fleeces.

  11. so ive seen all this crap about higher rises this fall...whatever

what ive actually noticed has been an attempt to downplay logos on back pockets

    and i say thank god

i blame 7forallmankind for this trend with that stupid A

i saw some humanities on tuesday that had a very different logo i know they did the argyle thing in spring but this had a very 70s feel to it

and 7 has that new woven pocket which is ugly...btw

what other trends have you noticed?

  12. are you serious?

    yea mine are old...so

    mudd is awful

but the reason i liked pdc is because they are so soft

    um jj i meant hemmed

these were mad long im onlyy 5'6" i need a good 2 inches cut off

i think barneys will do it for me i need to go back...um as far as actual tailoring im sure its possisble esp if the waist gaps but i figure for the price you spend you should just get the best fit possible

like i tried on some james and they mad my butt look and had this weird gap at the waist

  13. im confused is this particular type of jean? if so ignore what i wrote below

but um i used to dry clean my jeans

then i got cheap and hand washed them

then i got lazy and put them in the washing machine

so far so good i guess

but i wear them like 5-6 times before i wash unless something spills on them

as for goin months w.out washing that disgusting and i think guys do nasty shit like that

i hope your mothers raised you better than that...sadly its probably not the case

  14. um old navy or the gap sweats or lounge pants and baby tees

i hate that term but to be specific i cant work out in long shirts i feel trapped

or i rock some nike running stuff as in the sport bra tops and leggings

    out to tax...

  15. bumba i dont know my best fitting jeans are pdc but i only do stretch denim

    i need to be comfortable

the thing about stretch at least for me is that i sit all day i take public transpo to and from work and then sit at this desk for 9 hrs

so really i have to be comfy and not show my crack as well

i just find 100% doesnt move enough

jeanie i dont like the pockets i saw them last week at atrium but i will try them on i guess

i ended up getting some earnest sewns in case anyone cares they were stiffer but comfy i think imma keep them i just need to get them tailored

    out to tax...

  16. i would buy LL BEAN

yea i said it if u just wont a jacket

i dont know i have 2 northfaces one i got in 2000 and one last fall

    they keep my extremely warm

ones a mens parka the other is a womens parka

truthfully you need to buy a coat when its jan or feb thats when they go on sale

but seriously ll bean is mad reasonable u just have to sacrifice on the style side

columbias are also really warm i used to wear one in 1993

patagonia makes good fleeces i never owned their jackets
