  1. these were my first too. Bought waist true to size (30) and length slightly longer (34). 4 months, after 1 tepid soak with me in them, 1 overnight cold soak, and finally 1 really warm soak. Starching every week or so.

By the way, does anyone still soak in the tub while wearing their jeans? This hasnt really done anything for me.

  2. Given that these are a fairly loose fit, i couldnt see them stretching out that much. Give it a cold soak to fit the denim true to 30x32. As with all STF's, the shrinking/re-stretching cycles continues through several washes. Try soaking denim of your true size first in cold, rock however long or until the waistband becomes unbearably big, then turn inside out and hot-soak/machine wash them.

  3. Wishlist:

someone should revive the big brother/ dystopia stuff. Obey ruined it.

I've always been too cheap to afford the high end stuff. Vintage stuff for me and the occasional graphic, sneaks, and dry denim.

agreed. I had to spend some time with it before the chair of the philosophy department @ george mason u. came in and gave a lecture. Rene Descartes' Meditations is also something to look into. Boggling stuff.

  5. i respect TH crew because they travel the world, and are not just confined to the LA/Cali scene. Their hundreds x usugrow hoody was the only design i was sweatin.

  6. haha, people in the middle of transitioning styles amuse me. Somehow people still front the fitted/tuxedo-jacket/denim/sneakers look. Good work satirizing the in-betweeners.

hey hap, can i get more info on that bros products shirt, or just the brand in general. I've seen stuff popping up recently, specifically in the Toronto Area, and even across the pacific/Pacific Island region.

  7. Annie Creamcheese in g-town on M street. Crap men's stuff, @ least a lot smaller then women's selection. Jacked prices IMO. A block down, this one boutique with a red levi's sign hanging outside (on Wisconsin ave.) next to the worst sushi place ever. The store stocks up on, you guessed it, all types of vintage Levi's (excuse my denim ignorance-Big E, single-stitch, all that stuff denim nerds fap to) that go for upwards of 800+ dollars, as well as numerous throwaway t's and shit from old 80's formals/weddings. I'm cool with the owners, they even let me off with a vintage Izod-Lacoste polo! I pretty much stick to army surplus stores (Tysons, also fairfax across from woodson HS), and the Salvation Army (Manassas). Not too much over here.

Aside perhaps from the ones in SoCal, you just can't beat the vintage stores in the Philippines. I picked up an authentic BapexPepsi (remember that one?) sweater last summer for $2, which I'm contemplating selling for like a 10000% profit. Let me know of some of your other stores you happen upon.
