If it was Rebuild by Needles, it would be a neat find but I agree with you there.  Was it just a seam or did you note any actual fabric tear?

It was just the seam. If I push it any further, I can tell the seam will just keep separating. Again, disappointing for a jacket that saw a substantial bump in price.

  2. Disappointing discovery on quality of my J58-WS, received today. Put my hand in the left chest pocket only to feel the seam give way and now I have a hole. Will probably take to my local tailor to fix but this is a nuisance I shouldn't have to deal with at this price point...

anyone pick up the j46? measurements seem pretty weird.

the 1/2 chest is bigger than any ACR jacket i've seen. i figure it's due to the insulation making the external 1/2 chest (i.e., pit-to-pit) wider, but wanted to check with folks who actually received the jacket.

did you size down? or true/normal size? i usually go 1 size up from errolson for semi baggy fit (a la: http://www.digital-mountain.net/shopdetail/000000004147/133/O/page1/order/), but want to confirm before blowing money on that size.

    thanks

I went with my normal size... M. I had concerns about the jacket being a little large on me going by the pics of Errolson wearing a medium on acrnm.com, since I thought it looked a little larger or puffed out on him in that size. It fits me pretty much the same way it does him in those pics. I'm 5'10", 30" waist, 40" chest, 150lbs but what sold me on the size M being the right size was where the shoulder seams and sleeves fell. I considered sizing down myself, but it sounds like you would probably be fine with a medium.

  4. Theyre's supposed to be way too big in the waist dude. I'm 6'0" and wear a large and the length is perfect on me so unless you got dwarf legs, are u wearing them right?

    1. Step into pants, button and zip

    2. Pull both drawstrings at the same time, pushing your hips back into the pants

    3. Add belt so the pants sit on or around your hips

    4. (optional) Fold and roll cuffs to suit footwear

    5. (not optional) Look like a ninja

Waist size was new to me, which is fair enough. The amount of fabric in the thighs is what doesn't work on me. I ain't short nor are my legs out of proportion. P15-S just didn't work for me.

  5. Besides the bagginess, what do you think about the length of the pant in size S for your height? Feedback highly appreciated. As sypron mentioned a few posts ago, sizing up leads to even more bulk and therefore I also decided to go for the size S, but ending up like the END fit pictures is no option.

Length is perfect for 5'10". Comes down just shy of my ankles. I peg them anyway to get the look I want. The problem is that it looks *nothing* like the UnionLA pics, which is what I was going for. I could fit watermelons in the thighs and still have room. They drape super bad on me in the thigh.

  6. Not recent but this is from last years P15-S I am 5'10 and that's a sz L for sizing reference. (I think the cut and measurements are the same)

FWIW, I am also 5'10". I am 150lbs with a 30" waist and I ordered the P15-S in size S. Perhaps it's because I'm new to the ultra-wide, drop-crotch ACR pants, but even the S was waaaaay too big in the waist and there was way too much fabric in the leg for me. Looked way baggier and excessive than your P15-S from last year. I'm returning them unfortunately.

  7. Up for sale because I simply do not wear them anymore nor have I since at least 2008.

    1) Dior Homme fall/winter 2006 coat (size 48) that I personally purchased from Luisa via Roma back in 2006. Retailed for $1,500 in the US. Quite literally worn three times ever by me. Two of the four pockets are still stitched shut. Only defect are 2 of the 12 buttons have "weak" connections to the coat. This is a result of me being a little aggressive with the buttoning when I first got the coat. Can easily be fixed with a needle and some thread. Looking for $1,200 OBO... PM me reasonable offers and/or for detailed measurements.

    2) Lmaltieri from Carpe Diem - fall/winter coat from an unknown collection pre-dating 2007, obtained in a trade for a ~$2,500 DH leather jacket with an old school SF'er (xcoldricex if that means anything). Made of heavy duty cotton, this coat is lined and very heavy. Warm enough to pair with just a hoodie for middle of winter weather. I don't need to wax poetic about Carpe Diem's workmanship but suffice to say that this coat will outlast the zombie apocalypse. I am not sure what size it is because it's not tagged but it fits me *perfectly* with just enough room for a l/s shirt + hoodie underneath and for reference, I am 5'10", 155lbs and I normally wear 46-48IT sizes, small/medium tops in the US, and 31" pants. Pics make it look a little lighter than it is but it is in fact pretty dark. Looking for $1,500 OBO... PM me reasonable offers and/or for detailed measurements.

  8. So, I have a Visvim Ballistic 23L backpack I purchased back in the day. All black, leather bottom. Excellent condition but it does have a tear on one of the neoprene straps... something that can be fixed by a good tailor I'm sure, but it's also a tear on a piece I don't think is a key structural piece. Anyway...

If you guys don't know the 23L pack, google some pics of it but I'll get around to taking some proper pics of the pack in question. It seems impossible to find any non-garish packs on eBay and definitely none for under $800 (23L that is) so I'm trying to see if there's any interest from the SuFu community at a $500-600 price point.

The pack is totally legit but feel free to PM me any manner of question regarding this pack. I think I still have the box and shopping bag for it somewhere in my basement...

  9. Seeing if there's any interest in this wool jacket/coat from the Cloak F/W 2004 collection. Looking to get somewhere around $750. If the interest is genuine then I will get off my lazy ass and take some pictures.

The jacket is in great to excellent condition. Both outside pockets have had repair done since I *gasp* put my hands in the "hand warmer" pockets. This repair is not even noticeable since it falls in the area that your arms cover when your arms are at rest.

The jacket in question can be seen here at the 3:02 to 3:17 marks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpCFd3UOivA. It isn't nearly as dark as it looks in the video. More of a cement gray bordering on charcoal.

This jacket overall is pretty sick... and if I wasn't pushing 40 with two kids I'd hang onto it. As it is, I'd rather have some photography equipment instead of the jacket...

  10. Last update was back in August of 2006 (http://www.superfuture.com/supertalk/showthread.php?p=160499#post160499). I originally got these Studio D'Artisan SD-003's back in March of 2006 and wore them heavily all the way til February of 2007, when I got a pair of RPM Jomons. Thought I'd post some pics of what the SD-003's look like now...

  11. I bought a few things in the fall of 2006 that have never been worn. Please see the following link for pics, sizing info, and measurements.

    http://www.nikuman.com/images/superfuture/selling.htm

    I. The Lithium Homme shirt (tagged size 3) is completely brand-new and never worn. It simply does not fit me (thx JP sizing). The pics show that it is somewhat creased, but it came to me folded like many dress shirts do and after trying it on once, I hung it in my closet where it's been for over a year. The flash from the pics make the shirt look a little lighter and maybe with a sheen, but it is very much a plain, matte black button up shirt. Looking for $75 + shipping.

    II. BOOTS SOLD!

III. The Jil Sander pants (tagged size 46) were purchased on ebay for about $200 IIRC, around November of 2006. They are from the F/W 06/07 collection, Raf Simons's first with Jil Sander. They do not fit me, so I have never worn them. The guy who sold them to me had them hemmed, so please see the link above for measurements. He also claimed to have worn them once for a special occasion then had them dry-cleaned before selling them to me. They arrived to me hung in a dry-cleaning bag and upon inspection, it was clear to me that they were, for all intents and purposes, brand-new. Looking for $125 + shipping

    Stuff you should know...

    1. I will entertain pretty much all offers, though please try to be serious. First person to contact me with my asking price gets 2 days to pay (I prefer Paypal, though I'll work with you using other methods where possible). After 2 days, I will continue to consider other offers. I'm not looking for a bidding war, I'm trying to sell this stuff, so please know that I'm not going to sit on offers looking for more money.

    2. Shipping will be calculated using online tools where possible. Ultimately, I'm going to go to my local UPS store and send it that way. I will always produce shipping receipts for those that are sensitive to shipping costs.

    3. PM me with your offers and thanks for looking!

  12. I'm sure there are people with more sensitive skin than me, but as far as facial moisturizers go, I can't use any of the traditional "safe" stuff - Clarins, Cetaphil, Decleor, etc... my face ends up getting red and irritated after 6-7 days of using "normal" stuff. What does work for me, and I can say is easily the best facial moisturizer I've ever used, is DDF's Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew -

    http://www.ddfskincare.com/Pages/MainPage.aspx?Page=Product&ProductId=315

One application after a morning shower and I'm good for the entire day. Doesn't feel greasy or heavy at all. It is really worth checking out if you're on the fence with your current moisturizer.

  13. Wow... lots of feedback.

I can definitely see the fit of my jeans not looking... optimal. Interestingly, I've dropped 6lbs this past month, mostly in the waist. So my size 30 DH jeans, which I previously did not need a belt for, now call for one. I think this is where some of the sagging comes in... so I might just soak them for a shrink.

    Thanks for all the comments.
