definitely the man for japanese shopping

there were loads of accessories when i went on the first day but nothing really caught my eye. bunch of beanies and scarves as well as bracelets and such in a case by the counter.
there were loads of bassike as well in all colors. sorry can't help you on the pricing i really wasn't looking at stuff carefully.

didn't really take note but they were mostly girl cuts.
i think there were some black joeys and a few washed blues ones around.
would give more detail but i'm not really up on Ksubi's cuts/washes

70 for cheap mondays, how much they normally retail, 90? doesnt sound like much of a reduction.
yeah that's what I thought as well. the reductions for Ksubi jeans were far more substantial.

didn't see any shoes at all when i was there. loads of scarves and beanies tho.
plenty of bassike and hem&haw tees as well if you want some basics.
girls definitely had it better than the guys though

headed down to the FAT sale just before lunch time.
surprisingly no ques at all and was in fact pretty damn empty for a warehouse sale. noone jostling you when your browsing and no outrageous lines for the changing room.
stuff there was pretty mediocre imo. a ton of bassike and some other brand that i can't remember. some nice PAM jumpers and a few pieces from material boy here and there.
jeans-wise there were cheap mondays going for 70. pretty decent size run on the tight black ones but nothing fantastic.
nothing much from nudie or tsubi which is fine as i'm not a fan of them anyhow.
overall pretty average. girls stuff definitely looked better

I remeber one of my friends telling me he saw heaps of converse from like $50 to $80 bucks at those wear house places... best to call them first cause they are normally in the sticks
yeah i've been to one of those at the essendon DFO. didn't have any of the classic designs just the shit with flames, skulls etc.
thanks anyway dude.

also since we're on the topic of shoes.
anyone know a good spot for converse? i'm definitely not used to paying $120 for leather hi-cuts.

depends on what your after i reckon. melbourne isn't too good for imported brands imo.
you either pay too high a price or are stuck with a small selection.
often both

I purchased this sick hoodie while on holiday in Japan from Woolrich's Red Label. To be honest i have no idea what the red label means but i assume its something more trend conscious than woolrich's typical stuff.

The hoodie is the purple one in the link and i'm probably only letting it go for the price asked as i really really like it but its just abit too big on me. Worn once. The zip on this is really awesome its what attracted me to the hoodie.
Hoodie is a size L
$75 shipped in Australia and $85 shipped worldwide.
*Measurements and pics to come up once i get back from class.

imo the 606's fit a lot like the new cures. the top is kinda boxy and the legs taper a good deal. No back patch, lemon stitching, pretty big back pockets. I love these and looks like they fade quickly.
i take it the 606s are in the picture you posted? they look pretty baggy did you size up or something. i was kinda hoping for something alot slimmer. thanks anyhow

being asian in a caucasian country i generally stick to asian hairdressers. i find caucasian places tend to be inexperienced working with asian hair texture which results in them butchering things most of the time.

I really love this 606 fit, it´s a tapered slim fit and the slimmest jean you could get
from levi´s until the early 80s when stretch jeans came in fashion. the 606s don´t fit as skinny as cheap monday or april77, they´ve got more space in the knee, calf area...
btw. : the ramones loved to wear 606s, nearly on every photo you can see em in 606s skinnys
wow thanks for the info. i take it you've owned a pair or two of the 606s. would you say they fit true to size? the measurements all show em to have a hem smaller than 17cm so i take it theres some major tapering in the leg?

flower drum in the CBD is always superb for chinese but is pretty damn pricey.
don't sleep on the smaller chinese eateries they have some good food at cheap prices.

i've been eyeing up a pair of LVC jp 1968 606 jeans. anyone got an opinion on how they fit? is it new cure skinny or april77/cheap monday skinny (which i doubt). help a brother out here
