Yeah the WS-J25 is an amazing piece. Like you said though, it's a bummer it runs slim because my XL is too small to zip comfortably. They should bring back the gore wind stopper material for sure.

All this talk about the J32... Just scooped the XL off Union. Hope I will like it as much as the J1A.

Wonder what the price on the natural dye PFD is... Probably astronomical.

The SS08 E-J1A (epic with leather sleeve) came stock with the paclite hood, so even if it is the older version, FW0607 probably, that is all epic cotton (sleeve included) I don't think the paclite hood would look out of place. The paneling and multiple pockets on the J1A allow it to look good in a mix of materials and colors... Just look at all the variations release over the past decade plus, and they all look dope. So to answer the question of "would it look weird aesthetically?" not at all in my opinion. Plus the gore hood would offer better protection and stow-ability (as cmdR) mentioned. Go for it man.

I have the shorts from this season in wb400 that I wear quite often. Material holds up well as does the color. I think they hold color much better than the cotton based materials.

I just did a little research, and they did come out in a "bear foot" iteration back in 08, which look exactly like the ones above, so yes those are legit. Apologies for any confusion.

Unless those were resoled, I don't think that the hockney folk ever came out that type of outsole. Also, the heel counter doesn't look right.
