  1. Recently repaired a friend's pair of jeans.  Comments/pointers appreciated.

Here is the crotch.  Not quite a blow-out but was pretty threadbare.

Here it is on the inside:

One of the hem was completely stepped through.  I unstitched the hem, put in the hem of a cheap thrift-shop pair, and stitched together.  I wish I had used a different colour thread, but I ran out of grey-blue and didn't want to wait to go to the store to buy more.

Lastly, the other hem wasn't quite as bad, so I  folded in some additional fabric for durability.  I did this side first that's why the thread colour matched better.  Exterior/interior:

  3. Genuine Porter shoulder bag, bought in 2009 from Tokyo Hands department store in Shinjuku.

Last few offers fell through. Added a few more pictures. Measurements: 6.5 width X 7 height X 14 length. The front pouch extends out about 1.5.

The measures are rounded off as the bag shape is a duffle so there are round corners.

    $60.00 shipped to North America

  4. Hey guys,

Is there anyone in Seattle that can assist with a pick-up and ship?

I've purchased something at the Nordstrom in DT Seattle and it's held under my name and it just needs to be picked up and shipped to Vancouver BC. It's all been paid for so I can reimburse you for shipping and extra for your troubles...

I've had a few people help me out with this before but I seem to have lost all my messages, so if anyone can assist.. please let me know.

    Thanks!

  5. I'm selling:

    1. 3Sixteen ST-100X (slim tapered), size 31. Purchased from Blue Owl for $215, just received earlier this month. They've never been worn and all tags are still attached. They don't fit me but they might fit you. The measurements on Blueowl are accurate, or you can check Self Edge or Woodland Supplies.

    sold.

    2. This pair of Tweed Selvedge Weird Guys were purchased in November. They've been hot soaked and worn 3 times. However, I realized that I am really not good at regulating my body temperature and these jeans are seriously toasty. I get really really really overheated in them so they're not for me. The denim is seriously cool but it's just not my thing. SOLD.

  6. I have a pair of APC Petite Standard in size 29 for sale.

These are newish, have 2 full days of wear. There is no noticeable colour loss or wear on them and still fairly stiff.

You can see the pictures below. Feel free to ask for more.

I can ship them anywhere in North America for $100.00 with tracking, same day as payment clearing.

    thanks.

    sold.

  7. I recently purchased this jacket, but find that it is just a little too small and short on my frame (5'11, 165lbs).

I purchased it off eBay from a seller in Japan for $60.00 plus shipping so I figure I'd break even and sell it for $70 + 4% paypal fee.

Here's a link of this item on Rakuten:

    http://en.item.rakuten.com/vari/lv-jk-71506-01/

The jacket is made in Japan.

This is based on a wartime era Type 1 jacket, with flat donut buttons, but has 5 buttons. No flap on the pocket. It is redline selvedge, but in a washed state. The denim is not very rigid, but softer, like the denim in a lot of washed LVC jeans. The buttons are stamped Levi S & Co. The tab is big "E" and the label is leather (it is thin).

Feel free to ask me any questions. I've taken measurements from the specific garment I have:

    Pit to Pit: 21"

    across front bottom hem: 18.25"

    Shoulder to Shoulder: 17.25"

    Shoulder to wrist: 24"

back neck to bottom of back: 22.25"

I will ship the same day payment is cleared to my paypal, with tracking, to anywhere in North America.

  10. Hey there,

I am hoping to find someone who doesn't mind going to downtown Seattle and picking up something for me on Pine and 4th.

I will paypal you the money and shipping fees and something for your trouble, or arrange a pick up with you at an alternative date.

if you're interested let me know. I had someone do this for me a year or so ago but can't remember his nickname. If that's you, let me know.

    Thanks.

  11. Hey guys... got a bit of a strange request.

I'm in a bit of a struggle to get a last minute gift for my younger brother and I can't get to the US (expired passport) for the next few weeks so if somebody can do this for me, I will paypal them the money right away and they can keep the difference.

    Here's what I need:

a specific chunky knitted sweater from American Eagle Outfitters on Sixth and Pike in downtown seattle. If someone can pick that up for me tomorrow and post it to me with a trackable number, they can keep the change.

The sweater is 59.95US so 65.65US with tax. they're out of the size small online. I'll paypal whoever can do this $120.00US (verified account) so long as they can do this for me before the 24th.

okay.. well.. hopefully someone will be able to respond to this .... my email is [email protected]. or here is fine too.

    merry christmas.

  12. yeah i was at the office debating whether to go. At 9:30 I just decided to check it out. I work right at Howe and West Hastings so I just wandered over. It was already crazy at 9:35.

I wouldn't have stayed if my friend didn't see me wandering around looking at the line up and hollered me over. That was when the security guard told me I couldn't budge in line. So I told my buddy what I wanted and asked him to grab me one if he saw it. I went to the back of the line and waited. But while there I saw throngs of people show up and just shove their way into the line with their friends. Whatever.

My friend was in the front of the line with maybe only 15 people in front of him. He is about 6 feet tall and 180lbs, a big guy. It only took about 2 minutes for the whole crowd to make their way into the store but when I got in, despite the fact that he was one of the first in line, he was just standing in the middle of the store with a deer in headlight look on his face as people just rushed around him.

I only got the suit because someone had dropped it off the pile they were hording in their arms and didn't notice and it just happend to be a 36. My buddy grabbed his right before some girl was about to yank it from him. She actually asked him, "are you really going to take that?"

It was horrific and the guys I talked to at H&M all agreed that it could've been handled better and they weren't expecting the amount of people that turned up.

I did see them enforce the two item rule though at the cash, but most people just passed the stuff to their friends behind them. It was pretty sad.

The most ridiculous part was when we were at the cash there were people standing around asking everyone if they could have their comme des garcons hangers. PLASTIC HANGERS!!!!!! I mean, come on, that's retarded.

Overall, pretty disappointing. The clothes were decent though.

  13. Vancouver was a madhouse. There was a line down the block and the people there all came with either friends or family. The two items rule was in effect but nobody cared. Attempts were made at crowd control, such as security guards telling people they couldn't hold a place in line, but no one really listened. As soon as the door opened people just barged in.

The men's stuff was gone in an instant. My friend barely got a size 42 plaid overstitched suit and I got the same suit in a 36 purely by luck. People were shoving and pushing and most of the people just grabbed everything off the rack. Everyone had at least 2 to 3 of everything. Most of them looked like resellers as they weren't even looking at the sizes.

I asked a guy kindly since he was holding a few peacoats, 2 smalls and maybe 2 or 3 larges if I could take a small off him for myself. He told me he didn't speak English and walked away. Tried this with a few people that had more than one peacoats but no one was willing to budge.

At the very end I saw this very tall man with his girlfriend/wife near a rack with 4 (FOUR!!!!) peacoats and pretty much 2 of every item in the collection. They looked European but were very poorly dressed. I went up to see if I can get a peacoat the woman told me to, "screw off." The man then growled, "git!" I was not aware people used that word to other people. It was very shocking and offensive.

I saw them load everything into a van later on. Guess half the store went to them.

I also did not see a single wallet, not even in someone's hand.

    Very disappointing.

  14. Okay, more jeans to sell. Got these just the other day and wore them around for half a day and decided that they are simply too tight in the waist for me. There's no visible wear on these and next to no creasing. Still brand new, pretty much.

I didn't pay that much for them so I'm just gonna sell them to someone who's gonna actually wear them and enjoy them for cheap: $60 shipped to North America.

The denim is heavy, 14.5 oz, and really streaky. The tag says 31X34 but you can see in the measurement pics attached that the waistband is exactly 15" across and the inseam is 32". They have not been altered at all... just chalk it up to erroneous sizing I guess.

    sold.

  15. 1947 501xx.

Have been hot-soaked, minimal indigo loss, shrinkage complete. Measure 15" across top waistband, 11 1/2" front rise, 13 back rise and 32" inseam. 8"bottom hem

Since they've been shrunk already, and is from the 2007 spring US collection, I'll sell them for $80.00 shipped to anywhere in North America. Please send me your offers.

    sold
