It's difficult to judge sizing for a store the size of mine. I'm still refining my buys and store theme. But it's going in a direction that I'm really happy with.

I know blackbird tends to stock 44s, but for me, it's a choice of getting a wider variety of great pieces that tend to not see the light of day in most stores, or buy smaller or larger sizes.

Truth is, the buying patterns from customers for my store tends to be on the larger size, while there are requests for 44s, they're usually from the same couple people. And I try to work with them directly because I know it sucks being left in the dark.

For fall 11, I'll def be offering a broader size range thanks to the great support I've been getting from everyone.

If there are specific pieces or sizes you are looking for, feel free to email me and I'll see if I can preorder or find another retailer that would have that size stocked.

Anyone handled the fishtail parka? If so: What's the outside feel like? What's it filled with? How heavy is it? How do you size it?

The outside feels like a brushed cotton. The inside is a washed cotton like the other outerwear pieces, it feels like you're wearing a sleeping bag. Not sure about weight specifically, but get your usual size, it's cut a little larger for layering.

Mouko what happened to the size 44's this season? All I saw on your site the past few days was 46-48

Unfortunately that's all I have now. This is my first full order for Robert, and I'm doing an average size run to get a feel for my customers sizing. I will do my best to do a more spread out size run in the future.

This is it for now. I chose to buy 3 'looks' for my first order, but my next spring is a bit more substantial.

As for boots, I wear a 42 in the CP version of the boots and the 42 in the cp geller boots fit fine with me. I don't know how any other cp boots/shoes fit on me but i hope that helps.

The spring stock is a mixture of Keyshop pieces that were left from the store close as well as a few pieces that were not posted on the keyshop blog and/or didn't make it to the shop, such as the mustard jeans and the leather jacket.

I decided to open my store a few months after spring 2010 orders were finalized for stores, so I missed the boat. However, Fall 2010 will be the first season where I will be stocking myself.
