hey guys - absolute photography newbie here. i just got a 400d w/ kit lens, went through the manual... what next? can anyone point me in the direction of any good online tutorials for beginners. i don't mind investing in books either so any book recommendations would be great also.

I think $100 is good value if you haven't owned a pair before and looking for something ripped up. That's less than half retail I believe and the more staple washes don't go on sale in Australia.

However, in Australia they are everywhere, so I don’t really wear mine anymore except on the off chance I don’t feel like wearing my raw jeans. Quality isn't what it used to be, but tsubi has never been known for quality in any case.

how long did it take everyone here to land there first kickflip? there's something so humiliating about trying to learn to kickflip at 27, yet i persist
