  1. post soak fit. the thighs are actually looser than I expected. I probably could have gone down a size at least. hot soak and hot wash, hung dry (I don't have a dryer). I suppose it will shrink a little further with a few more washes. W34. 5'9" 180lbs.

I think you could've sized down 2. We're about the same weight (but I'm 6ft) and normally wear a 33 in raw and a 34 in one wash. The experts here adviced me to get a 32.

  2. Yes, I saw the D51XX but I think the lettering in the patch was colored gold. Weird...The fabric does look like the Oni's but in a slubby different kind of way. I like it a lot. I'm also wonderig why people don't talk about this brand that much. I think it's top quality.

  3. Just saw The Steam Locomotive Jeans in person and I must say that it is one of the most unique jeans I've seen. It's like the first time I saw the Oni Denim when I went to Ueno. I'm sure it also fades beautifully. Anyone's got a pair? Please post pics!

    I'm tempted to order one!

  4. I was just at Trenner Lee & Na and found the most interesting pair of jeans. A Steam Locomotive with one of the nicest denim fabric. They have one pair and it's my size. Too bad they are pricey. 12,000 baht. That's US$380!

    But their denim ARE authentic.

  5. been working on my sorahikos & though, I've had some fading & creases happening in the front it's hard to put honeycombs despite the repeated spraying of liquid starch.

  6. I was just wondering if we could have a separate thread for all natural indigo jeans. It has been said how hard these fade & a lot of us might be interested on their evolution. I will be taking updated pics of my Edo Ai's, Shoai's, AI-001s, & S510XX AI-N as soon as I can.
