^^Yeah, the toe-box isn't high at all. These are the first Aldens I own on the Barrie last, and its quite a bit sleeker than I had thought! They would look really awesome with slimmer-cut jeans, but I think it still looks good with my baggier Fullcount 0105 contest jeans I'm wearing in that pic.

Thanks! The crepe sole is very comfortable. The heel especially has a very cushioned-feel to it when walking.

Here are some pics of my new Alden plain toe boots with plantation crepe sole on the Barrie Last in #8 shell cordovan.

Finally got around to soaking my size 32 0105's. After a hot soak for an hour in the tub, threw them in the machine washer and drier on highest temps. They are still really baggy in the hips and thigh area.
