the maiden noir denim is going to be higher quality than the goods denim. thats not to say that the goods jeans arent high quality though. i assume theyd age like any raw denim, just dont wash them too soon.

ian is EXTREMELY metro sexual. i know some of you out there might find that comment offensive or whatever but its the 100% truth. i find that most of the denim they sell there is just over designed over washed trash. kuhlman is cool but not really for denim, definately check it out though. goods is really your best bet as far as denim goes, they just brought in a.p.c. and they still carry prps and evisu (whose new season is fucking awful by the way). and they sell my t shirts which automatically makes them awesome. atlas on broadway between pine and pike is also worth checking out.

the only problems ive experienced with gildan so far have been with their lighter colored shirts. the quality just doesnt seem to be as high as their dark shirts. for this new batch ive tried to use dark shirts as much as possible.

ive been using gildans so far. i really wanted to go with AAA diamonds but when it came down to it i could only get them if i did 12 of each size per color. im prett sure i wouldnt be able to move that many shirts, which is sort of a bummer. if i ever get to a point where i think i could definately at least break even im going to upgrade to a better blank.

thanks for all the comments. pics of the actual shirts will be posted when i get them back from the printers.

Hooded Sweatshirt Production Advice (please help)

like many other small clothing label owners im intrigued by the idea. there really isnt anyone out there providing a quality blank hooded sweater. for someone to fill that gap makes sense and could be a very profitable business. but if youre charging $40 wholesale to labels who then have to get the sweater printed (add $10-$12) and then wholesale them to shops the final retail cost of these sweaters is reaching the $200 mark. that is a unreasonable amount of money to be charging for the type of product that would be produced. it just doesnt make sense. i want a quality blank as much as anyone on this board but when it comes down to it if youre marketing this is a alternative to small clothing lines its really not going to go anywhere.
