  1. haha fuck that made me laugh...

did i mention that indian cab drivers in Singapore suck?

oooh and chinese as well...if they drive you to a fuckin gemstone fabric ("its just next to youl hotel")

    FUCK ASICS!

onitsuka tigers are actually a hot item in taiwan but they are ugly anyhow.

  2. hi everyone first post in this thread.

just want to ask if anywhere in singapore sells prima cotton or egyptian cotton tees? i'm sick of those thick large collars like AA or AAA or uniqlo ones anyway.

and can anyone recommend skinnies, ladies jeans are fine with me and jeans other than dr denim, julian reds, apc, cheap monday, t/ksubi, april 77, nudie thin finn, lee jeans? and i'm looking into denim with mixed contents of lycra i think which makes them softer and such.

and for shirts, any other brands they are good fit like band of outsiders, apc shirts, woods & woods and YMC? i like those crazy new age details shirts but they are like too expensive seriously.

  4. u can't be wrong, kiteless. i totally agree with you too.

i am a singaporean myself and i hate it. what culture? we have none here.

    and what arts?

well the furthest i can think of is:

photographer - leslie kee, (john) clang, kirby koh

designers - phunk studio, ffurious, melvyn from 2manydesigners, theseus chan from works.

fashion - woods & woods, vera wang, song + kelly, ashley islam

boutiques - club21(alexander mcqueen, john galliano, under cover, n(n), comme des garcons, comme des garcons shirt, yohji yamamoto, helmut lang, rick owens and more) blackjack (maharishi, cabane de zucca, buddhist punk, y-3 and more), venue (stocking puma), red wolves (evisu, red monkey), white room (under cover, john galliano, marc jacobs, apc), comme des garcons guerilla store (comme des garcon, comme des garcon shirt, trico comme des garcons, werks), asylum (some under cover, rare books or mags like tokion, vice mag, modino and moreeeee, and rare cds, rare sneakers.), agnes b (art gallery with paintings and photographs + boutique), issey miyake, surrender, ambush (fl, gdehuk, pam, ssur, kaws, tonite, kostas s.), belief (bounty hunter, ngbh, uc, bape), miklio (bathing ape, bape, uc, nexus)

music - rudra, boredphunks, force vomit, observatory, electrico, sun yanzi, a-do, yida, jj, poptarts, guerilla)

well if there's something to see, there are only the new age punks and skinheads who has the sub-cultures in SG, others are okay, wtf?

go to take 5 on granville rd, its on the second floor. its on the kowloon side of hong kong off nathan rd. its on the second floor next to japan retail corporatiion. aroun the corner, off granville rd on granville circle there is a little mall called rise shoping complex. its small, but has 5 floors there are 2 really good used denim shops with stuff from japan on the 2nd and third floors. on hk side of kowllon bay there is levis and hysteric glamour.

japan retail has cdg, uc and stuffs.. went up to check it but it was closed in the early noon.

there's a shop call trippy too. 2/f 55 granville rd. tsim sha tsui. t: 2724 8038 they have stocks of nn, bape, imaginery foundation, rebel and a few others.

and around that area they have shops selling vivienne westwood and juicy couture with 50% off.

and area 0246.. cdg and uc tees going for pretty cheaper than resale price in other certain countries.. they have some paul smith and bape accessories too and graniph.

and yeah rise (lay see in canto) complex has one shop call ATT. nice cuttings. local deisgners with influences like john galliano and helmut lang. room 403-4 4/F tel: 2368 8439

and btw.. G (ground floor) = 1st floor (for sg and some countries) or ground level with the street. and LG = B1 (basement 1)

and 1/F = 2nd Floor for sg and 2/F will be the 3rd floor.

and silvercord at tst mtr exit c i think has shops of xgirl, gdc, montage, xlarge, freshjive, apc, tsumori chisato, izzue, mastermind, carhatt.. and dmop (opening soon) and I.T. (which carries lots of designer labels like Y3, hussien chalayan, helmut lang, martin margiela, robert cavalli and lots of others

harbour city has hysteric glamour and all the big runway labels like ysl, dolcegabbana, agnes b, marc jacob, missoni, vivienne westwood n lots more.

juice (edison's shop) is in 53 paterson st, causeway bay.

comme des garcon store is in 18 kayip st. unit 1. in chai wan.

and check out shops like medium core which stocks devilock and mackdaddy and birkin shop which stocks some jill sander, miu miu. both in causeway bay.

  6. its getting frustrating to hear people saying singaporean don't know english.

we speak english and mandarin okay?

we read, write in english too.

and with no funny accent or slang so it's easy.

  7. Large is coming with BBC but i'm sure it will be cop by the fellowheads here before your chance. heh~

Anyway for your information, June or maybe July (i'm not sure) is an annual big sale in Singapore - Great Singapore Sale, we call it.
