  1. JUPA, IT'S ALL GOOD TO ROCK THE 'UNDFTD X FBT'

TOTAL RULE ON THE WILD SIDE AND THE REST IS SHIT.

oh i noticed that it's almost like a snake [head]

from the shape of fbt and the red sole looks like the tongue stickin' out.

no!? oh fuck forgive my lame observation... but thanks again for a rockin' shoe.

IT'S FUNNY, I'M ON THIS SITE ALL THE TIME AND I FOUND OUT THROUGH RTHQ THAT THERE WAS A POST HERE ON SF.

THERE WAS A BIT OF A TYPO BUT ALY IS STILL VERY MUCH A PART OF FIBEROPS.

ALY WAS ONE OF THE FOUNDING DESIGNERS FOR PHAT FARM AND STARTED A#. IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN PAUL MITTLEMAN WORK WITH HIM AT PHAT FARM BACK THEN AS WELL.

I REALLY LIKED ALPHA WHEN IT CAME OUT. PARENT CORPS DEAD CREATIVITY.

MATHLAB KINDA DWINDLED OUT SINCE ALY WAS BACK AND FORTH TO HK WHILE DEVELOPING FIBER.

WITHOUT THE HEAD ANY OPERATION WILL FAIL.

I DID THE UND/FBT WITH EDDIE CRUZ. HE'D SAY SHIT I DO IT. I'D SAY SHIT I'D DO IT. IT CAME OUT REALLY SICK. TOO BAD THE QTY'S WEREN'T AS HIGH AS IT SHOULD OF BEEN BUT, THE NEXT ONE WE'LL MAKE BOAT LOADS OF 'EM. SPRING '06 I GUESS?

JUPA>>I DID THE UND/FBT WITH EDDIE CRUZ.

    salute JUPA!

i got mine couple of weeks ago and it's so sick that i can't make myself to wear it.

it's an art piece [to me] have seen so many crossovers but nothing beat this.

the material combo is well executed and the red sole and beads are the little details

that caught my attention besides the snake. oh, the subtle debossed undftd logo on the heel as well.

really appreciate this well designed piece. just awesome...i would rate it "the shoe of the year"

    and no i'm NOT ex·ag·ger·a·ting.

  4. forgive me guys...it's been awhile since i found time to check what's going on...

    can help?

how do you guys rate a paul smith selvedge?

i was at a hand-me-down today and i saw a pair. condition 8/10. no tear and holes except some worn marks around but i would consider not serious. and has 5 donuts. love donuts.

also a pair of big-john seldvedge with suspender copper-like buttons.

i didnt get more details but should have.

are they considered quality denim because they are selvedge and double ring spun and stuff?

Sweet! I saw a pair like those Sears ones you have in a lot on ebay last year. Those repro lees look pretty rare, I haven't seen those before. Do you wear the sears ones very often?

Script I am 33 waist and 31+ in the inseam. I like to get a tight jean and stretch into them, so a lot of times I get a 32 and stretch it out.

    Cheers, Joel

  6. i wouldnt dare to say for mine.

my actual waist is 33" but slip on a 34". [for future's sake] icon_smile_wink.gif

but based on my brother's [a 32"] it seems there's room for gluttony.

about an inch to an inch half and that's after cold soaking them too.

    he's complaining now.

    why not go try them?

sorry wish i could be more specific.icon_smile_blush.gif

Script, I'm digging the selvage jean! It says that it is dryclean only. I wonder if that means it is shrink to fit.

--- Original message by Serge d Nimes on Apr 23, 2005 08:29 PM

serge, them topman jeans didn't shrink.

maybe some but i didnt feel it. didnt dry clean them though.

soaked in cold water. as i was covered with indigo dye and

thankfully i didn't looked like a walking selvedge denim.

i will need to wear it as much so the stainings wil run off asap.

really worth. got it for £55.icon_smile_approve.gif got yours?

  8. serge/ring2

yea, it's selling off fast. good buy too.

my brother managed only to grab me a 34/32. now that's a downer.

i dont know whether it's shrink to fit. if it is i'll be very worry.

32 will go 30"-29" aftr wash? i think i will have a post it note on my jeans

to remind myself "dry cleaning only"

    now i'm worried...got to get my brother...maybe an exchange...sshhhhiiite

[i do notice that the lil' guy [at the background] is always around...]

serge, have you seen the selvedge denim from topman under premium denim?

how good are they? they looked quite nice though with assorted coloured buttons at the fly,

    suspender buttons and cinch back...

sup script. where is your brother located?

    check this out:

    http://www.apc.fr/us/en/boutiques.php?id=10

those should be the stores where you can expect to find APC stuff. i would try them on in store to avoid any sizing mishaps that may occur. New Standards run for about 110 euro (much more than the $120 they cost in the US)

and yes, dope backpack indeed icon_smile.gif

now for some APC v Nudie comparison!

last week i was at this store called "Traffic" in the hollywood Berverly Center and there were a bunch of Nudie jeans. i tried on the Nudie regular ralf dry selvage's and from what i remember, the RR's feel more tough and rough than the unisex APC's. the RR's also had a sort of shine that the APC's don't have and felt smoother to the touch. i wouldn't be too suprised since the Nudie's are about $150 more!

the Nudie's fit really well but may be a bit on the tight side with a high waist. i'd imagine the APC unisex's to fit in a similar fashion.

  12. cool..thanks for the link. was comparing a pair that my brother left behind for me

and it's got the exact details i wanted. i really love them donut buttons and it's got imprint

j22 behind all buttons. dont really know what it means. guess it's a coding some sort.

my biggest challenge now is to patch 'em nicely. there are tears here and there.

    got to do it nicely....

yea the ezra fitch one and another is a Levis mag with Hiroshi Fujiwara on the front cover.

dude, that's a sugar cane back pocket aint it? awesome...where did you get those from?

oh, have you tried buying any from joenet? dont think they accept international orders tho...

    cheers
