Inspiring!!
I literally did a fraction of a fraction of that on Friday night. Did a night trail run 5k. Headlamps and all. It was a little nerve racking at first but I had alot of fun!

Road Runner Sports has been ok for me. Depending on what day and who it is the sales people can get pushy, but going there to get fitted for shoes, checking my gait made the biggest difference. You have to try on shoes theres really no other way around it imho.

^ Congrats!! Also did the marathon. That wind on the Verrazano was ridiculous!!
Did the rook run in jersey this weekend. Might do a 5 mile turkey trot or w/e this month and thats probably it for me for the rest of 2014. Any races people are already looking forward to in 2015?

how much water / electrolyte stuff are you drinking generally, I feel like ive been doing better overall just by drinking more water consistently everyday and not over doing it with the water right before i run. a banana helps too

^ any particular models to look out for?
I finally got around to getting my gait checked. turns out im neutral, flyknit 1s were among the shoes that were recommended for me, it was between that and the pegasus 30, but the flyknits won out because they were lighter..and on sale.

I don't know how some people are still running in shorts and t-shirts in November. It's getting pretty cold here in NY (low to mid 40s at night with wind chill) and I'm still cold wearing 3-plus layers.
What are you guys wearing to stay warm?
Also, where are you guys keeping your keys and phones while running? The velcro arm bands are a pain in the ass - the get sweaty and throw me off balance.
im wondering the same thing. Ive been using a nike half zip with a l/s compression underneath and nike running tights. Went running today and the wind was just too much for just that. i used my torrentshell to deal with the wind but that thing does not breath at all, so im thinking about maybe some sort of fill vest but am open to suggestions for a shell/jacket
