  1. Christian, if you get in touch with the Trainer Spotter clothing guys, they have contacts for import on Nike Trainers, so you can get the really great stuff without the local acocunt. I know some in the past have doneit and it actually shows Nike UK you are a viable acocunt if you're shifting imported stuff, and of course, they'd prefer to sell to you then the imports via other Nike agencies.

I have been looking into a store but still finding the right unit and we're going to stokc Trainer Spotter, that's how I came to find out the above as I was having the same problems with Nike UK........good luck and it will be good to have another online stockist of Merlin !

  2. Those last 2 pics are the funniest thing I've seen or read on here for ages !! What possess someone to set themselves up for a slamming like that, and just in case we weren't sure how cool he is, that pill shot, I can't stop looking and laughing.

It's kind of like a car wreck, you know it's wrong to look, you know it'll be a mess and most likely disturbing, but you can't help yourself !!!

  3. Following some of the comments within the BAPE thread, some help guys. I run a group of DJ's in the UK called Keep Off The Grass. We are looking into starting a small T shirt line and I'm tearing my hair out trying to find a decent stock tee to use. As mentioned in the other thread, everything I find has a neck size to fit a tree through it !! Really after a nice fitting neck.

I picked up Murina from your comments and asked for a sample (in the UK), BUT ANY THOUGHTS / COMMENTS / EXPERIENCE ON ANY OTHERS ? Hanes ? Beefy ? Howies ?????

  4. It's funny that I've read lots of times (like in that link) how you are limited to one item, queues arounD the block etc, buT the one in London is nothing like that. Never more than about 10 people in there, even on a saturday, which is great, never seeen a queue and I've spent a few hundred quid several times (say 4 items on some visits) without any problem. So will the one in NYC be any different ? I think in Japan it suits the marketing and interest and helps curb the bootleggers and dealers.................

  5. I asked the DD guys about the sizes, got this helpful and nice reply :

Our advice. If you like the more 'fitted look' then go with MEDIUMS on

both - HOWEVER - if you like a little room for movement - go with

LARGE. We use the most expensive - most plush t-shirt on the market - the

HANES BEEFY-T. Our shirts are 100% ringspun cotton HANES BEEFY T SHIRTS

@ 6.1 oz. weight. Initially, all brand new beefy-T tshirts will seem a

bit big but will ALWAYS fit better after a few washes - especially in

hot water. Thick weights and pure cotton make up of shirts cause them

to shrink slightly more then regular cotton-poly blended tshirts. The

    local saying around here is...

'My tshirt size is a brand NEW MEDIUM but a WASHED LARGE.'

So I stuck with the large and if needs be, give it a couple of hot washes ! Much like BAPE's non pre shrunk approach.........
