  1. thanks guys for the info. Hmm... this is gonna be hard. The site which I'm looking at, or for that matter most sites don't seem to offer half sizes. And the models I'm looking at, I can't find any other site that has it! Not even on GS' own online store. I'm typically US 8, do you guys reckon wearing it half a size larger is alright? Is the cushioning ample enough? I know for sure if it's like some typical sport sneaker i.e. Adidas/Nike it'll be alright. But this......damnit.

  2. Hi all,

would like to know some info on the sizing of these shoes. Heard(even stated on their website) that their shoes run half a size to a full size larger than stated. According to some customer service rep of some online sneaker retailer, the sizing is as follows: UK 7 = US 8 = 26cm , which is about the same as Nike shoes, half a size smaller than Adidas, and of course varies slightly according to model. Does this mean that if the shoe I purchase is US 8 on the label, I can expect it to be actually 8.5 or even 9(26.5/27cm)? Anyone here own any and can enlighten me on the subject? I'm interested in buying a pair of wharfs and wino and they don't look the thick lining/cushiony type so it's important that I know more or less how it fits. Thanks!

oh ya I can't get them in stores here where I live so I'm thinking of buying them online.

    lolololololol

your thread just made my day!

    hahahahahah

for real tho...I bet you meant it! I bet you once worn it when u were still a clueless young teen! hahah

Well, I did own a polo shirt from them many years ago lol!

I bet most guys here won't even know Giordano...is it even available in the states?

  5. what's with this sudden surge of threads with questions like "who design's the best jacket/Jeans/underwear/panties/lingerie/sneakers/t-shirt/hoodie?"

Why not someone ask who designs the best dildo or rubber pussy or something? that'd would be a better question as it's pretty straightforward. Whereas with clothes it's too vague! What's your style? what kinda look do u prefer? do u care a lot about quality, do u like radical loud designs etc......

    Interesting...looks like there's a few different instances where they've used the ®tag.

I like the Edwin back pocket stitching and the Nudie stitching is fine by me. Neither are deal makers or breakers.

  8. erm...the irony...you're complaining about everybody bitching here and yet you gotta go start a whole new pointless thread on the same subject. If you really want the attention just post at one of the already created threads, not start another one again...people like you are partly to blame for the amount of bullshit we have to read here. If no one started threads like this there wouldn't be so much bitching. You're just adding fuel to the fire and spurring up more nonsense from people who wouldn't have posted their worthless 2 cents in the first place. Even if you're point was not to complain bout the bashing here on supertalk but to advise people to stop taking things so seriously and moving on and as you said going to more laid back places, you can just post a reply at one of the many dumb threads already. Aah...I guess I'm equally guilty for even replying to this thread. Oh well, you won't see me reply to this thread anymore.

  9. exactly...I was kinda amused at first when I saw all these threads complaining about service...coz I never really ever had a problem with any of these people before and I never walk into any of these stores expecting to be treated like a king in some Beverly Hills type boutique. Sometimes I rather they don't talk too much and that's the same way I behave. I walk in there, I look at stuff, get what I want and leave. I don't ask stupid question and I don't press them for release dates or hookups or anything like that. If you were ever treated badly and u know you were not in any way wrong at all...walk out and don't ever go back again unless they hire some new staff.

It's a plus if the shop has cool staff like recon/Nort west in SF and the OG Huf staff.(and no, it's not the annoying salesperson kinda friendliness) But if they don't have that kinda hospitality, so what? I'm not going there to get a blowjob...

  10. erm...Bape has been around since some time...can't remember exactly when and A bathing ape IS based on The Planet of The Apes. Nigo is supposedly a huge fan of the film and got the idea out of it.

  11. no I don't waste money on cabs that's why I need to know...it's alright I'll just check on mapquest.

My main means of transportation here is walking followed by the bus(only if I need to). Boy I do A LOT of walking here!

Damnit it's Blues Jean Bar! Not blue jeans bar! icon_smile_cool.gif

    Thanks again.

  12. checked out the website for the blueS Jean bar ;-P. What's the cross street?

and for Rolo what's the cross as well? Just wanna save as much time as possible so pls lemme know the cross st. please. And what brands do they stock in Rolo?

    thanks a bunch guys

  13. Hey I'm looking for any store here in SF that sells good denim. I'm looking for a new pair of jeans and I'm looking for something that's preferably raw or dark without all the pre-done whiskers and fades etc...so anybody who knows good shops in SF that sell nice jeans please post. Oh and please don't tell me to check out the LVC section of the Levi's store...I've already done that.

ya and those high fashion runway stuff by ultra radical fashion designers
  15. I think the fact that the Supreme NYC store(I haven't been there myself...just basing my opinion on what everyone is saying) has staff that seem to have something stuck up their asses is the fact that it's in NYC...I mean NYC isn't exactly known for having nice and friendly people. Coupled with the fact that people who work in these stores(supreme, union etc.) usually think they're "the shit" just coz they work for these stores and brands and can have some attitude problems, it's natural for them to be on another level in dickdom/douchedom.
