they had a store in costa mesa, and then later opened another one in newport beach @ fashion island. Those both closed down, I also know they had a store in LA, but I'm not sure if that one exists still either...

When we used to carry this line @ carve, the stuff was pretty good. I still like some of their stuff, but I could care less for others (OC Shirt???)

the dye and stitching looked pretty similar to me, Im not a denim nerd though so maybe its just me. I actually tried on the APC's but they run so damn huge, the 32 waste felt like a 34 easily.
next time try reading it again, I said similar not the same.

I just bought a pair of 501xx Shrink to fits @ mervyns for 30 bux. The quality isnt APC obviously, but they do look pretty similar, and you cant beat that price.

apparently those english style APC are sold out. Would you guys recommend me going for the rogan slim cut jean?

the APC English style look good. How is the cut compared to rogan, I usually wear a 32 but I got the rogans in 33 which was a mistake (too loose)

Hey all.
Was wondering if you guys could help me score some new denim. I have owned a few pairs of G-Stars, and also some rogans but I'm looking to get a new pair. My last denim purchase was the Rogan original ethanol's but theyre up on ebay now because they were just too loose in the leg for me (anyone else notice this?) I really liked the wash and the material of the jean, but the looseness just bugged me. You guys got any suggestions on other jeans? Selvedge? Im lookign to spend a max of $150 or so. Thanks!

problem is the quality of these jeans is really shitty, unless theyve improved on it over the last year. I had to take back the BASE jean 3x because the button's kept popping off on the fly.

You're right niketalk has way too many kids. Most of the people on it are younger than 20, and you gotta filter thru so much BS to find some decent or useful information. Theres nothing necessarily wrong with that style, you probably want those people in those pix wearing that style and not copying your style.

^^ Wow thanks for crapping on my thread. Keep the negativity to yourself.

Hi again guys.
I was looking at ordering a size 33 or 34, but is 210 a good price to pay for these. Are there any other denims that you'd recommend that similar to rogans but less expensive (say around $150).
Thanks!

Whats up
I own a pair of rogan slim fit denims in size 32. They have good wash, and theyre pretty comfy, but I didnt realize they were the slim fitting model until I checked a website and saw that they had a normal original jean, and a slim fit jean. My problem is that they seem a little tight on the waste, and the leg seems a little bit tight at times. How do the original denims fit? Are they overly baggy? Im thinkin about orderin a pair in size 33 and selling my slim fits. Anyone with pictures?
