bapestas killed it for the whole brand. the shoes appeal to people more than anything else, and the clothes just come with the territory. imo the stuff that bape puts out is fine, its the reputation it has developed over the last year or so has kind of took a turn for the worse.

im not mad at jonas and lrg at all for making money and being very successful, but the design and idea behind the brand has changed drastically through the seasons. i still remember going to the very first sample sale of the first line, me and a handful of people buying some pretty cool pieces. now the stuff they put out is completely different and totally left field from what the idea they started with. leading to a cancerous spread of this so called lrg disease. my 2 cents

surprised to see it there, but up against the wall at the beverly center had the one wash purple selvedge jeans, among others, around xmas time. not sure what they have now. i believe fred segal santa monica carries prps as well.

ive seen those purple selvedge line jeans before there ok, but not worth the heavy price tag. the other pieces of denim the have are kinda too crazy, with too many rips, stains, paint, etc. etc. on them.

thats dope stuff man! yeah man the market is really crazy right now. riverside was a very good move. that city is growing really fast. supposedly the third fast growing city in country. i go to school out there and always notice a lot of new developing everyday.

there was some guy at the levi's store in costa mesa, who i chatted for a while about selvedge. this was a while ago he was pretty cool and knowledgeable, surprisingly. i actually bought some 501 repros there. he said the SF usually gets everything. they probably sell out quick though. i go back to costa mesa a few months later to see if they had the same jeans. the girl didnt know what i was talking about and so with the store's manager.

carve in costa mesa is getting them, has them, or waiting for them. not sure but definitely available there.

That's the og stussy shirt that the customade ones were based on, right? Btw Santa ana isn't too crazy, its not great though. Its between costa mesa and disneyland.
