  1. theres absolutely no reason these should be hypebeasted

if it says supreme it will be hypebeasted, though probably not kermit-style. the fact that 99.9% of the beasts have never heard of bad brains doesnt matter if there's a box logo in there somewhere.

and by the way, why are they (supreme) recycling their own ideas these days? surely there are other semi-obscure bands/artists to "pay tribute to"?

  2. I'm sure all the tee's sold very well, but when it comes to other merchandise that I'm sure they were required to buy, it sat.... I know westside was going to pick me up all the supreme chinos for $60 at cmonwealth they had been sitting there at that price for 2 months...

I'm sure that wouldnt have been the case if Supreme allowed online sale of their items. Considering all the hoopla around this brand its really sobering to hear that the stuff doesnt always fly off the shelves. But then there are always a few items each season that no one seems to want.

  3. what? it's the t-shirts and flashy prints that got to the beasts. that naturally led them to get whatever had the supreme label. i don't see it dyin out any time soon.

sure, but once the market for tees and flashy prints has been saturated everything will calm down and it will hopefully be possible to get stuff you actually want from supreme. now, people are buying whatever they can get their grubby hands on. I dont see that happening once the store(s) restock.

  4. The prices in Japan according to Rakuten seem really expensive in comparsion, though I wait until the hype dies down and hopefully pick up a deck when prices are less crazy.

but the Rakuten stores are all seem to be non authorized resellers? of course their markup will be huge (though it can be a good place to find older stuff).

considering how weak the cut and sew stuff from this season has been so far, hopefully the hype will die sooner rather than later.

  5. now thats a Kermit tee I would wear.

Backpacks are too small, Duffles are on point.

Nice to see Supreme actually using cordura this time around.

All the outerwear's a bit shit tho.

  6. hey Eric, how much was the bumbag?

love the pick-ups, btw. good selection!

Just got back. Got there at 10:30 and I was about 30 ppl deep in line. lots of hypebeast kiddies playin hookie, but a few ppl that look like they post here. got in the door at 12:30. but something made the wait entirely worth it - a white limo rolls up and parks across the street from jersey ave. out steps three chubby white 12 year old hypebeasts decked out in kid robot hoodies 5 sizes too big and footlocker dunks. with their father and teenage sister. and shoffer (in his bowtie and driver's cap).

so they didn't have the kermit tee out, but def had them in the back. as i was waiting to pay, they told 3 kids they didn't have any. i don't even want it, but i wanted to see if they would sell it to me. dude was cool and sold me one. pm me if you wanna pay rape price for it or i'll just put it on ebay.

    some more info

-clear up on some prices, fuck'em keychains are 18, supreme key chains are 3.

    waist bag is 72

-short sleeve oxfords won't be out until later in the season when it's warmer

-they have ballcaps that look like polo or hilfigger rips.

-also have really nice lookin pocket tees in some great colors, but they're 60 bucks. hopefully they'll be around for the sale

-that other photo tee with the naked chicks isn't supreme, but apparently it's been sellin b/c i tried to get one and they didn't have my size

-the pledge of allegance tee was dope

-the backpack was really small, i was excited for it, but it's square-shaped, not rectangle, so that was disappointing.

-those stripe polos are made of a stretchy nylon material, like a golf shirt

    my swag

i can almost guarantee that i'm the only attorney who ever took a day off of work to wait in line for a skate company's teeshirt. and then take pictures of it and talk about it online. i'm worthless.

and if anyone else can shed some more light on that story with the three pre-pubecent hypebeasters in the limo, please add some more descriptive/articulate stories. that really made my day

  7. don't think i'd get it but i think the fanny pack is pretty sick, esp. the tan/olive

hear hear, I dig that particular bumbag as well.

its all good though, if the beasts dont like it the easier it will be to pick one up.

  8. for real these kids buggin out.

and to the guy who said ODB shirt would "bring them down" to streetwears is making a completely dumb remark. have you even seen any of their artist tees in the past?

how many silly odb/biggie smalls etc. "tribute" tees have we seen from a variety of companies these last couple of years? I cant be bothered to count but the correct answer would be "too many".

Supreme is supposed to be ahead of the pack, not behind it...

  9. so far so weak. compared to this stuff f/w 2007 was a completely brilliant collection.

and no, an ODB tee wont save Supreme. it will only drag them down to the level of 10 Deep, Mishka, Crooks & Castles and those types of shit brands.
