I'm missing a pair of WW2 jeans in my lineup. I love my older model 0105 and the newer wide cut looks amazing. Did you have to size down at all on these @Heavy_blue?

I went with my regular 34 size. Although it’s a little loose in the waist a size 33 would be on the edge of to tight.. i washed them on 40 degrees but my experience with raw denim is that they still shrink a little even after there second or third wash. So i was not gonna live on the edge this time and went with the save option. It’s a killer piece! You NEED a WWII haha! Now i’m looking for a top to wear with my Fullcount. Looking for a denim shirt but also intrigued by there 5222 football tee. Do you or anyone else has experience with that one?

  2. Hello all,

So i’m Jeff and this is my first FC denim. It’s the s0105 30th anni denim. I’m not new to the world of denim i own my share in Iron Heart and in TCB. Since i’m more in repro’s these days I totally dig my TCB s40 and 50,s denim a lot. A friend of me suggested me to try a FC and here we are. Give them a wash on 40 celcius to get the most shrinkage out of them. Overall i’m pretty happy with the wide fit. Happy owner and for sure not my last piece on FC denim. Let me know what you guys think about the fit, also this seems a cool spot to be so thanks for having me. Have a great dayy all! J

Nice dude, thanks for letting me know how you soaked them. Love the fit on those. Hopefully they loosen up in the waist for you :)

Thanks! They already did! Fits like a glove on the moment

@Heavy_blue Nice to see somebody give the 84 501s a go. Did you size up at all? Did you hot soak or cold soak?

Thanks mate! Levi’s said on this particular model to go TTS in waist and take a larger inseam. But i went with a 34/32 cause 34/34 was sold out and ik could just pick this up for around €110,- so i just took the shot.

gave these bad boys a hot-soak, let them dry for around 2 hours and start wearing them these day, damn tight in the waist but after a few hours they already are a little looser.

overall fit is great i guess, normally i wear slimmer jeans but as a started collector (again) a lieve of LVC can’t miss.. see the fit for now

  5. This morning the ‘84 went into the tub, like saud before the waist didn’t shrink that much! It’s tight but i’m sure it will stretch!

the overall length hasn’t shrunk the advertised amount i can rock my normal length and still cuff them.

the overall fit is much better now, i really like them more right now.

@Heavy_blue - I’m not speaking from experience but I’m sure I’ve read (from comments on this thread) that some of those new Mk II LVC jeans that use Japanese denim shrink minimally at the waist. I’m not sure if it’s a model-specific thing but may be worth further investigation...

Thanks for the heads up! I could try to soak them offc

finally someone shows up in a pair of 84s, great!

the fit looks right to me. do they come true to size?

how is the denim? is it hairy? at the pics on the Levis site it looks rather flat and uniform compared to the 76s denim or other denims being used for the lvc line.

Thanks! I think it’s a great piece of denim, compared to the ‘54 it runs a tad smaller in the waist if i remeber that correct!

The denim isn’t hairy it’s a flat piece of japanse denim. It seems to be more thick then the other LVC rigid ones, some websites say it’s 12 OZ other ones seems too tell me it’s 14 OZ

it’s a thing i need to get used to i guess then are a little tight, but i can button up rather easy.

Those are not just "higher rise". They are some of the highest rise you could find around. They're the rise for which all other rises are low rises. They're the rise to which all high rise look up to. They're the highest, risest ever.

Thanks! For the ‘high rise’ haha! That’s why i’m In a doubt for the sizing.. you see

for the best fit I would measure you current pair and order by that. Keep in mind that the rise on the TCB 40's is much, much higher then your current jeans.
Also, the 40s jeans that are sold now are no longer the contest jeans.

Thanks! That’s why i’m asking, cause i would love a higher rise, but i don’t have any experience with that and even if there was no lockdown there isn’t any shop where i could try them on..

  10. Hi Guys,

i have a question and i hope i do this on the right way. I would love to try a S40 jeans from TCB. Right now i have a Benzak B-01 and a Momotaro 0405 so that are the type of jeans i’m used to wear. But i wanna try something more vintage like. I wear the benzak in a 32 en the momo in a 33 any sizing sugestions?

    thanks in advance
