Hello peeps,

Long time lurker, I am very tempted to join in.  

Any tip to choose the size ? it seems that this jean has a higher rise than the ones I own so I am not sure how applicable it is to measure my favorite pair and compare with one wash. 

Should I just remove 1" from the jean I measured ? 

Sorry for the newb question but measuring the waist for a high rise jean confuses me.
