@ken1123 I'm curious... what's wrong with uneven selvedge?

Has the uneven selvedge resulted in any draping differences?

If no draping or wear related issues, it sounds like you got lucky with these.  It makes your pair (most likely) unique. Possibly your own dirty little denim secret :)

    No issue at all

Probably getting uneven train tracks with wearing :D

    Tell what they'll answer.

I have got the reply from Freewheelers as below:

In our opinion, this is not a quality issue. We’re not judging this case as an defect.

Basically our thoughts(wish) for our products is to express the ambience of old times, not only producing old style products.

And so, for us, a difference by hands of craftsman like this case is very enjoyable.

We hope you enjoy our concept from the bottom of our heart.

Wash them again and see what happens. But yeah, as Julian said a hit wash and a tumble dry can do wonders on seam puckering.

Re the uneven selvedge, I am a bit surprised this causes such a shock :D

Maybe I'm just used to subpar brands

Exactly, I had no issue with the subpar brands I owned.

That's why I expect more from Freewheelers which caused the disappointment

Do not look at both legs selvege simultaneously. Seriously, isn't some irregularities a part of the fun?

Exactly, wabi-sabi. Besides, you’d pay £500 for that on a pair of CSF so think of it as a bargain.

You know you would get it from CSF, but I just didn't expect it from Freewheelers  :D

post some fit pics when you wash them , good to have more posters in the thread

Did a hot soak and a Rinse-Spin in washing machine.

The waist is fine but they are a bit tight in the hip area, should be able to stretch them out with more wear..

Bad fit pic taken by my cell phone

  6. I am new to the forum. After reading the whole thread, I have ordered a pair of M46 First Half through instagram.

I thought it could take a few months for the jeans to be made, but I am so lucky that Yoshiaki San started making my jeans right after my order.

The jeans has arrived today, can't wait to start wearing them!
