  1. Hi guys. I need help legit checking this Achrom jacket. I just bought and recieved it off Grailed. I payed 600$ incl. shipping.

The reason I think its fake or a factory defect is cause of the white boarder around the collar containing the stow away hood. I have several Veilance pieces and I have never seen this white boarder. Rest of the jacket looks good though, the stitching on the outside and inside is very Veilance-like. Tags are good? At first glance at least, but I need more input on this.

    Here is the album: https://imgur.com/a/w1opuUQ

  2. Just got the Field Overshirt. Came in original plastic with dust bag. Its fairly wrinkled escpecially around the arms on both sides.

Will it even out with a few wears like the jackets, or should I try to iron it?

I agree with AvantSol. I have three different pairs of p23 in different sizes and materials. p23-s (S) looks good, but they are not very convenient (tensed in calves), p23ts-ch (XL) are long enough and wide. p23a-ds (L) are perfect.
Also I had p10ts-ds (L) and they were long. Stretched knees below the knees looked particularly ugly. Surprisingly, but the same size in p10a-s (L) looks good.

    PS I'm 5'11"

All looks really good, but L is sick! Im a few cm taller than you, so I guess L is my size if I were to buy p23.

  4. Im about to pull the trigger on my first Acronym jacket piece. In Veilance im a L. What should I go for in Acronym? L as well?

Would be hell to buy wrong size :o

I realize this is sort of nitpicking, but just in two days of wear that crease has grown considerably, simply because of how the bag hangs. My experience with dyneema tells me to be afraid. :S

Then again, if it's nothing then cool! The bag is great otherwise!

    Some thought on this season:

The Field LT feels like a completely different jacket compared to the previous version. It waaaay slimmer, no drawcord, etc... but even the shoulder feels different to me. Just sad it’s not in green.

Could you comment on how slim this is compared to Arris? Would you recomend to size up like with Mionn?

So the zippers alter the fit, they're not pockets correct? From valdizbro

They are so tacky. I really hate the zipper shit they have been into the last few seasons. Looks like something I can buy heavily discounted from Zara.

  8. Got a Arris today 60% off a shopping mall here. I payed about 360$. They were going to discontinue Arc'Teryx Veilance. The last Arris was my size (XL). They also had a few other pieces, mainly blazers. Only small sizes though. Super happy and amazing find!

or you could try veilance themselves they offer free returns with a prepaid return label included with the order as long as it's unworn and all the tags haven't been removed. just make sure you get a return authorization number before sending back.

Thanks for tip! I will probably do just that!

I think the best option is to try the pieces on before buying.

I know there aren't many Veilance dealers around, but, in my experience, they are very helpful and easygoing with returns via mail

Impossible where I'm from. Have to buy directly through website. My other pieces is from a retailer here where I'm from, but they stopped selling Veilance.

I think with a jacket like that you can ruin the fit if you size up for the purpose of layering - the cut of the shoulders will be out etc which is not a good look if you ask me. Id take the same approach as above and just buy everything in the same size and then all the fits are relative.

    Hi,

I'm not looking to layer the Achrom. I guess I didn't explain good enough. I'm using the Achrom without layering for sure, but I dont want it too tight. I want a normal fit on it.

Earlier I have had Mionn IS 3/4 Jacket in a L. It was way too small around the shoulders. I could bearly get the jacket on. I also have Mionn IS Vest in L, it's also too tight. I can bearly get the zip up.
