  1. So I have an old worn GT-J11L and the seams are starting to come off. Can I send it somewhere to be worked on or do I need to do all seam tape/DWR restoration myself?

I WAS into streetwear on reddit and bought a few brands (y3, cdg (not cdg play), etc.) I loved the looks but it didn't seem like I was getting my money's worth. After buying some acronym I loved the function and look of the pieces and could not turn back. Also I urban climb buildings, cranes, and cell towers and wearing techwear while you're climbing gives supercool pictures feels awesome.

I'm personally a cat kind of guy

  3. How good is acronym in terms of range movement? I climb buildings/cranes and usually like some ~cool techwear shit~ for photos when it gets windy/cold/wet. I have a (7 years old now I believe) gt-j11l, but I got a size too small by accident and it’s really constricting, so I usually have to wear it open or partially zipped. I want something that’s fairly active that way I don’t slip while I’m a few stories up haha.

  4. I was looking at getting another techwear jacket in the 400-600 range (600 is stretching though so if you want to send offers in this range I am okay with that, but keep in mind that unless I think its a great deal I probably won't buy at 600) and came across a gt-j14 in my size. I already have a gt-j11L and both jackets seem very similar. The j11l is a bit too small for me and I'm pretty sure I would not be able to make much off of it because its a 4/10 with the use I've put it through, maybe 5-6/10 if I buy some gore tex tape and patch a few spots up (the armpits have come a bit loose but besides that the jacket isn't too bad). The j14 is in my size and looks good condition, but I don't want to just buy a jacket that replaces my gt-j11L because otherwise it will just go to waste and I spent months saving for it when I was younger so it has some sentimental value to me. So is the j14 different enough in look to warrant buying or should I just save up money/look for other jackets?

  5. I'm a t e c h w e a r b o i, but I want to ask, besides aesthetic is there any real difference between techwear and stuff from an army surplus store? When looking at acronym specifically they add a lot of features but the increase in price definitely accounts for more than that (not saying that that is bad)

I realize that techwear in part is a style and that is why there is an increase in cost and I am okay with that, I'm just wondering if the fabrics/clothes themselves are any different from something you could get from an army surplus store.

  6. Bought a GT-J11L about a month ago and the DWR coating is essentially gone. I heard that ReviveX was recommended to use so I bought a bottle of that to get some DWR coating on the jacket, but it didn't work that well. I sprayed very liberally and followed the directions as well as I could (put in dryer on medium heat for an hour, sit for 24 hours, etc.) but much of the jacket still doesn't repel water. Do you guys have any other suggestions?

  7. I want to buy some ACG cargos, but can only seem to find large or small. I'm 6'ft 2 and weigh 165 pounds and have a 30 inch hip waist (I wear my pants on the hip). Do you guys think I should get a large or small? (unless I find a medium of course)
