I use my 3ts for school. So usually laptop, binder, pencil case, then modulars loaded with keys, headphones, gloves, extra pen, what ever else will fit.

Yes it gets heavy, but I'm used to it now and wouldn't want to go back to a backpack. I prefer the access while wearing it to having to take a backpack off to get things in or out.

Makes a good daily carry when I'm not going to class too. Basically I'll use it for everything, school gets the most of it though.

Not sure how I managed to do, but I bleached a dime-size spot on my p10-s (close to the knee). Since etaproof is cotton, I figure I should be able to dye, but I am a total noob when it comes to this. Do any of you has ever dyed etaproof or has any advice as to which dye to use, how to do it, etc

try india ink, made the bleach spot on my p20's almost invisible after dye seemed to do next to nothing. go to a local art shop and they'd probably have some

I know this has been talked about sometime before,

but does anybody have experience with re-dyeing Stotz?

My P20-S have become slightly faded in the front thigh area, still pretty black but they have an orange tinge to them. I have some Rit dye. Just want to know if anybody has had success/issues with Rit, or any techniques to make it work better.

I destroyed these Stone Island cargos (enormous rip in the ass and down one leg), but luckily @es._.ke was able to not only fix them, but make them way cooler than they were before.

He turned the tear into a gusset with raw edges, added a couple pockets, cropped the legs with raw edges, and darted the knees. Couldn't be happier with them.

Honestly I'm kind of surprised that the LF1's didn't have a gore-tex lining or something (I mean it wouldn't totally work with the lateral zipper but to me it just seems like something Errolson would do). Since those released I've always figured a gore-tex shoe would be right up the ACRNM alley

A local store carries those and some of their other products as well, in hand they feel like they're made really well. I haven't heard how they are in practicality; I would imagine they'd hold up. Unrelated but the pedal straps on my bike are by YNOT and I love em.

If he's repping 4horsemen he's probably in Victoria in which case the whether is all fucky and that fit isn't unreasonable other than kind of being weird in general.

Exactly, I live in Victoria and it's always something different here; but we have been lucky enough to have a bright and fairly warm spring so far. Besides the gaiter this is kind of what I wear day to do depending on temperature, but probably one of the more loud days; and that was part of the point.

I never liked wearing it just on my neck, It doesn't do my body type any justice. I guess the same could be said for wearing it up, but at least then it looks less like something you'd see most people wearing and serves a better function. I'd have no reason to wear it just on my neck with the vest since it tends to keep my neck fairly warm on it's own with the high collar.

The gaiter definitely looks better when worn with a jacket than a vest though, I can't deny that.

Please stop wearing the gaiter up.

I don't think there's an issue with it being worn up, I'm just confused as to whether it is cold or warm where he is, based on what he's wearing. Good fit, though.

It was sunny but windy and a bit chilly, ~10 degrees C if I remember it right. Obviously I'm not wearing this thing during the summer, but it was the first day in weeks, maybe longer, where I could; so I did. Same goes for the vest, It does get a bit hot at the neck of it if it's even mildly warm so it's really just a morning thing; handy since it packs so well.

How else would you wear the gaiter? I think it looks kinda dumb if it's worn like a turtleneck type thing

Zipper to my 3A-1 is off the rail, any tips on getting it back on? Currently can only zip with one working zip one way.

i don't remember seeing you say which version you have. does it have a metal zipper? if it does, a tailor could fix that easily, or even diy if you want to try it. not sure about a plastic zipper though, but a tailor is probably still your best bet.

Im deciding for a 3a, but cant decide between, well... all of them... but if its to be my 'going out' bag as i already have a backpack for uni, What would you guys recommend? I'm leaning to the 5ts but its incredibly hard to find one thats not made of the normal limonta but instead xpac or codura. 

i've seen the 6ts black foil on the ACR site but im not sure if its going to be too big, if the 6ts is fully compressed what size would it be in comparison to the 5ts? around the same size? or still considerably larger even if its compressed bottom and top

 

also; wheres the best place to find second hand 3a (and probably the clothes as well)? 

i bought a 3a-3ts at the beginning of this semester and it works just fine for carrying my laptop (13 inch macbook air), 1.5 inch binder (full), pencil case, water bottle, and has room for my jacket (it's pretty packable) or midlayer if i need to take something off. The modular ability is handy, i keep my keys and earphones on outside pockets that i bought.

unless you have multiple binders and a large jacket that you need to carry in it (as in it won't pack up) a 3a-1 or 3a-3ts would probably work just fine. otherwise, i'd say go for a 3a-5ts

Hey has anyone dealt with bleach spots on stotz? Long story short, I'm an idiot. It's pretty small so if I'm stuck at this point it won't kill me, if there's something more I can do though, I want to do it. I tried Rit dye and it has helped a bit, but after several times over it's only made it slightly better. Any recommendations? Small mark ~1cm by ~0.5cm. Thanks in advance

Got my P17s in. I love the fit in the legs, but I don't think I could make them work just because of the volume in the crotch. Maybe after wearing em a few times it wouldn't be as weird though. Love the fabric however, they would be perfect for what I wanted if it wasn't for the extra pillow room in the crotch. It just sticks out a bit weird, not my kinda thing. Selling and buying P20s that I found, because those are awesome.

Anybody have their P20 yet?

I was at Haven yesterday and was able to try them on. Super cool, I loved them actually. Just want to know how they are after a full day of wearing them, the knee articulation seemed like it might not be the most comfortable thing in the world.

They were super nice though; the fit was near perfect for what they are, I hope to see more renditions of them in future seasons.

by the looks of measurements and fit pics you should be okay, but I can't say for sure because I haven't tried either on before

can anyone help with p17 sizing? i usually wear 30/31 and right above where my belt sits i measure about 32" around my waist right above where my belt sits, would a small be the right fit?

Also, would I be able to comfortably fit a 13-inch macbook pro in there? The dimensions seems to check out but does it have a laptop compartment or something?

I can't personally comment on the material of the 3A-1-BLK, but as far as size goes you'd be okay. I got a 3A-3TS a while ago and my 13" macbook air fits fine along with everything I take for day to day classes. Although, it's not the most comfortable thing, it tends to strain your back, but I've gotten used to it.
