Hey dudes. I know there is a market place for this but I'm just testing the water...I'm kind of looking to sell my 900's sz 30w. I think they are incredible but they just don't fit right. They have only been worn about 3 weeks. If anyone is interested you would get them for quite the steal. For those of you whom are into black jeans, here is what the Iron Heart/Self Edge 8301SBG has to offer. These have been worn 379 times with 2 soaks, one hand wash, and a significant amount of repairs by Rain @ Indigo Proof. Both of the knees (three holes), the crotch (multiple small blow outs), both front pockets (wallet and iPhone), one interior pocket bag (iPhone), the coin pocket (knife pocket), and both cuffs were repaired by Rain@ Indigo Proof. There are a few new holes on the back pocket and I'm busting threw the repairs on the knees already...as well as around them. Thanks for looking!

I have another question for the group....Can you size down on the waist in the 24oz denim? How forgiving is it? I'd like for them to stretch back to raw size. So will it stretch an inch? This will be my first pair of Samurai jeans so I am flying blind here.

Well BiG describe the fit as a mid rise slim taper and Denimo refer to it as tight straight. I would prefer a slim taper as I've been wearing some tight straight Iron Hearts for the last 8 months. I guess I'll just wait to hear back from them and roll the dice again. Cheers, Fellas.

There should only be one batch of these made because they are limited, right? Or could each retailer have a different batch? Also, can anyone tell me what the top block is like in this model? I'm looking for a little more room up top. Thank you!

I can't figure out why the Denimio measurements are so drastically different than the BIG measurements for the 710xx 24oz. Can anyone offer some insight on this? It can't just be the way they measure can it? I mean, it's like inches off. I always thought that the 710 was slim but not tight and the Denimio website make them look skin tight. Thanks in advance as I really need to get these heavy ass jeans right when summer starts.

I just put a pair of RRL Low Straight Japanese Selvedge in the Market...Size 28x34 (measures 29w and will stretch to a 30w for sure) Made in the USA. The fabric is beautiful but I have to downsize to make room for some more heavy weight exotic stuff.

Pocket arcs starting to show now!!

Here are my 8301s jeans just before their first wash. 251 wears....they're headed in for repairs on the crotch and cuffs this week but I think I may leave the knees for awhile. I was going to put them on rotation but I decided I can't abandon them after all. We are going straight through until 365 and we will reassess then. Getting a rad angle with an iPhone is not an easy task and I am no photographer.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. It's cool to feel welcome and I think you have convinced me to keep these jeans. This week will round out 250 wears on a pair of Iron Heart and then I will be retiring them for repairs. This pair of Eternal will get a ton of wear this summer and I'll be sure to update here although I find it hard to photograph jeans with proper light. Stay tuned for that.

I'm going to give it some more thought as I think they fit perfectly in all other areas and you are all most likely right. It's just a little more fabric in the ass than what I am currently wearing which is a slightly slimmer cut and sized down to boot. I'll give it a few more days in the market and make a decision.  Thanks for any and all input.

I love the jeans overall I'm just not sure about the backside...maybe I should be wearing a lower rise because of a lack of butt? All opinions are greatly appreciated as I would like to not sell these.

Decided to sell these too. I love the way these look but my "love handle" to no butt ratio has them sitting weird in back after another hot soak. I just had them hemmed locally by Indigo Proof too!  I'm struggling to find a pair that works for my frame. "the struggle continues..."
