sick! liking how these are fading...

  2. 3005, 3009, 3012, 3003 will all be much better in the top block than the jeans you have now. Imo though, for you, I'd go with 3003 or 3005. Probably 3005. Because your upper body is so large you'll be able to rock the wider hem no problem, I don't think carrot fit jeans look good.

You're bigger in the upper body than I am and you'll get a way smaller leg opening than on my size 33s, which I still think look good... That is if you cuff to no break or a very small break.

Ok, cool. Thanks for all the advice, I appreciate it.

  4. Don't worry dude, those are basically brand new. They won't be too hard to sell depending on the price you put them up at and how long you're willing to wait.

And of course don't buy anything you don't like just because I have such a strong opinions... But those opinions are formed over years and a lot of money that could've been spent better!

Here are some rjbs I had that were too tight

    vars.jpg

And my 3005s that I'm still wearing...the 3005s are much more comfortable and imo look a lot better.

Any suggestions on what % of the original price I should ask for (i.e. - 90%, 80%...)?

  5. I'm with Ben on this one. Those are gonna shrink more even with cold water. You might wanna check out the 3012 too, its got some pretty big top block/thighs and smaller leg opening, or the 3009 like Ben mentioned.

Edit: you're in a decent position to sell them now too because you haven't hemmed or aggressively washed/shrunk them either.

Ok, thanks for the advice. I guess I'll just have to sell these then, damn!

  6. Bro, with your build you need either the 3005, 3003, or 3009. People with narrow waists and big thighs don't work well with cuts like that because, like you said, the thighs are too tight and the waist is too loose. Sizing up will get annoying in the waist.

Straight jeans have small waists and big thighs, which would work well. Also it'll balance out your large upper half and feel more comfortable.

Those jeans are way too long and need to be hemmed, but you haven't nearly gotten the shrinkage out and when you wash they're going to be more uncomfortable than they are now and shrink more in length than you might anticipate.

Idk why the fuck these people work at these stores if they can't give good advice... I've waisted so much money and time to fade nice jeans since no one told me what I'm telling you know.

Dayamn! Hahaha...should I just sell these then? Would anyone even buy these since they've already been pre-soaked and worn 2x?

    Hi all,

Just bought my first pair of FH (FH 3002). These are a size 30, I tried on a 31 and they were huge in the waist, the salesperson recommended that I buy the 30s and soak in cold water for minimal shrinkage. I soaked these in cold water 2 days ago and wore them for the first time yesterday, and wore them out tonight as well, so altogether, I've worn them 2x. I'm not really into cuffing; I prefer to stack, but obviously these are pretty long for me. Any advice about hemming? Yes/no? Also, how do these fit? the thigh area is pretty snug, I'm not going to lie, but the waist is comfortable and so is the butt area. I do a lot powerlifting, so it's really difficult for me to find raw denim that fits me, the waist is usually huge and the top block too tight; sizing up so that the thigh and butt area will fit just compounds the waist problem. Anyway, any comments about the fit of these will be helpful.

Personally i would hem because i think they look sloppy in the stacks but also consider if you wash them warm they will shrink.

Appreciate the advice, I'll have to get them chain stitch hemmed...
