  1. I just got an email this morning from Denimio about a 10th anniversary jeans from Momotaro. The details in my opinion look great. It seems like they are taking pre-orders until the end of March but the jeans don't come out until the end of August into September.

Has anyone else heard about this?

  2. I found out that the Montgomery Ward jeans that don't have the cinch back have been delayed until the end of December. That is too bad, but I am still thinking about buying them.

  3. Not 100 % sure mate, but I think they're only sold by Warehouse themselves.  You can buy them via their online store: http://www.ware-house.co.jp/?pid=91856033.

Corresponding with BiG, it sounds like they'll order them in by request.

Thanks a lot for the help. I will asked BiG about putting in an order. Is it difficult to order from warehouse's website?

  4. Does anyone have any idea when new 20th anniversary Montgomery ward jeans will be released to retailers? It's the pair that has the star stitched into both back pockets. To me, it looks like a great pair of jeans and I really want to buy them. I saw them on the warehouse website and I thought that they would be released in October but maybe I mis-interpreted what the website was saying.

    Thanks

  5. hey guys, I didn't realize that the poll is for people who have already committed, I will delete my vote then because I am still on the fence. I really like my RJB D102 LTD jeans but I am not totally sure where this is going.

Some of the info sounds great and some of it, honestly, disappoints me. I think, the biggest concern, for me, is going to be the fit since I have big thighs.

  6. Hi All, there hasn't been any activity here for awhile so I decided to post some photos of my RJB D102 LTD jeans that I bought from Tokyo this past April. I have been wearing them almost every weekend since May.

I haven't done much photo taking of jeans before. If you have any requests of what kind of photo I should take of it, let me know. These are a great pair of jeans and I love putting them on everyday.

  7. Dude, we appreciate the support!

Did you go to FH in jiyugaoka or RJB in Daikanyama? I have no clue how but I was able to order the surfer shirt from the dude at FH, even though he spoke 0 English lol. Came in one day and I picked it up right before leaving for the airport.

I really want to check out Nagano, not just for flat head but supposed to be awesome nature... Plus snow monkeys...

Looking forward to the RJB pics to light the fire! You're right, no one really sell them, and we'll get killer fits and awesome details. Can vouch both 3009 and 3005 are awesome depending on your preference and build!

I went to RJB in Daikanyama. It was a great place. I can't wait till I can go there again. When I was there, I got the last pair of D102 LTD they had and it was in my size, super lucky. After I went to a lot of denim shops in Tokyo, I ended up deciding to buy RJB because I know the quality is amazing and also, they really don't sell online, you have to be there in the store to buy it.

  8. Hi Guys, I would definitely be very interested in this collab. I just hope it won't be too expensive. I am very interested in the 3005 cut. I need more room for my thighs, haha. I actually bought the RJB D102 LTD from the Flat Head store in Tokyo when I was there back in April of this year. I just took some photos now and am in the process of uploading them to my computer. I am going to put them up on the RJB thread. I hope this will be a good example.

This is my first time taking photos of my jeans so I hope it will be ok, lol.

I just have to say, I love the idea of RJB jeans with FH fit. I don't know of any place in the US you can get original RJB jeans, just collabs.

  9. Has anybody picked up the Indigo Star Short Sleeve Workshirt?

The measurements for an XL look good for me, but it's hard to figure how it will fit through the midsection based on the photos. So, I'm curious if it's cut slim/tapers from the chest down. I've found this to be an issue for me with RGT shirts that fit in the shoulders and chest, but narrow too much through the waist.

    Also, @kcrunner, 3sixteen posted some picks of a worn-in sample 120xk: http://www.3sixteen.com/blogs/news/33967556-wear-specimen-st-120xk

Wow, what a coincidence. I just received the Indigo star short sleeve workshirt in the mail today. I was worried also. Previously, I bought the XXL size of the indigo dyed t-shirts from self edge and those t-shirts fit real well with room. I just tried the XXL size of the workshirt and there definitely isn't as much room as the t-shirts but still, I felt that, for me, it was at the edge of feeling comfortable. Once I figure out how to get my phone photos onto this site, I will upload the photos

  10. hi, I have gotten more interested in the Strike Gold 5105 and want to try them out before I buy them to just make sure. The problem is Self Edge NY doesn't have anymore in a size 38 they don't know if they will get anymore in. The online Self Edge store has some pairs but I don't want to buy it without trying it on.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do?

  11. I just got my pair of 15oz Stealth Stanton's in the mail today. Looking amazing. I hemmed it to 33" but I think I should have gone to 31". I want to use this as work pants and the lower leg area is a little baggy but I am still going to try it anyway and see what happens.

The waist is perfect and the thigh area is great too. They are really stiff right now but I am looking forward to how they will feel once I wear them in.

  12. Dude,

Generally if there is a restock it is quiet and happens before a new model comes out (For example, the Kinda Special had a ~20-30 pair restock a few weeks after release), but never have I seen him go back and make the exact same jean again.

From my understanding, he sets his shop up for a particular project and that's that - once he moves onto the next project that article of clothing will never be made again.

Maybe he'll feel nostalgic and use those rivets again one day, but I'm pretty sure it'd be on a different pair of pants.

Not a bad way to work if you ask me - makes each piece an artifact.

That's good to know. Thanks a lot. Maybe one day I will see those rivets again. I have never seen them before.

  13. I was really intrigued with the rivets that Roy used in the Big Bro Jeans and I was hoping that in the next set of jeans, he would use the same, but it doesn't seem to be the case and I am a little disappointed.

Does he ever re-stock any of his older styles or is it once they are sold out, that is it?

    Thanks

  14. Hi everyone,

I went to the Warehouse website recently and I noticed that it is their 20th anniversary this year. They are offering an anniversary pair of jeans which I think look great and I am real interested about it. I am a big guy and usually can only fit into size 38 or larger. On their webpage, it states that the jeans will go up to 38.

Then, I click on the reservation link and when I get to the reservation page, they only show up to 36. Does anyone know what happened to 38?

    Thanks a lot,

    Justin

  15. I think you should look into Sugarcane Okinawa's personally.  A good straight fit that has really interesting denim, lots of details like lined pockets, selvage pocket bags etc.. and they dont cost a whole lot in the big scheme of things.

I think that makes sense. I did some more research into the Okinawas and I can see that it has a lot of great character and now that selfedge was able to lower the prices on these. It's like the perfect opportunity to check it out. I really appreciate everyone's input with this.
