Great fit! Do hope they use different threads for the 21oz, the threads on a standard fc barely work as it is. Still a bit bummed they did heavy oz though, struck me as going against everything they have worked for. Pretty sure it's a kickass pair anyway.

Here's a bump so no one forgets this.

On a side note, I hope the arcs aren't "filled-in" like those fh x rjb collabs, like filled with felt or w/e. Those arcs threw me off buying a pair :/

How's everyone jeans holding up? I've a pair sitting in the closet as I wanna wear out my 1108"s first, at least til next year. Would anyone say they fade slower than the standard 13.75? I'm hoping for a yes as I've begun appreciating slow faders.

What size would I be in the lone wolf carpenters? There's info on this thread but it doesn't apply to me as I cannot imagine sizing differences between different foot widths

Which of these fits are most similar to Samurai 710xx? Seems like it would be the 1101, which is what I voted for.

I wear both. True waist 30, 710 size 30 and fullcount 1108 size 29(almost everyone downsizes cos of the large waist). I would say my FCs feels a teeny weeny bit more fitted in the top block than my 710's. 1108 slightly less ass give and slightly less room in the knees.

Knee down, the samurais and the full counts CAN feel similar depending on your height and how much you hemmed the 710. Taper is gradual and starts a little late on the 710, with roomy knees for my build. For my 5ft 10" height, they feel the same. I would say the taper on the 710 is only evident if you can utilize almost all of the inseam, if not it does feel kinda slim straightish.

They look the same in the mirror for me.

Shaping up to be my dream pair!

Edit: is it possible to get 5 buttons for the smaller sizes as well, was sorta bummed out my size 29 1108 only had 4 buttons :/

I do hope it's a different fabric from the 13.7 oz, cos I'm sure many have tried out that fabric and I am working on a 5 month old pair of 1108's at the moment. It's fantastic, but for a special run, I would think many are looking for something different, correct me if I'm wrong!
